"We stayed at Briza villa 801 with swimming pool from 28 February to 5 March. The same villa we had last time we were here on Koh Samui. Nice location with its own pool and sea view. But unfortunately we note that the place is falling apart with poor maintenance, missing tiles and missing grout in the pool. So the entire hotel should be renovated to get the standard that the place deserves. The breakfast is unfortunately at the same poor level as last time when it comes to the selection of spreads and the lack of refrigeration of all the dishes with different products that were on display."

"Wonderful stay. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would stay here again. Peaceful relaxing resort with beautiful views. Beach is small and the sea is rocky but that’s not a negative comment, just factual. Pool area is lovely - didn’t feel crowded and always loungers and umbrellas available. The hotel has a shuttle bus into Chaweng a few times a day, which was great as made going in very straightforward and convenient. The hotel is a little further out of the hustle and bustle which was nice to retreat back to. Wonderful- recommended hotel. Really enjoyed the stay. "

"A really nice hotel, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle but that suites me. Lovely beach and pool areas. Restaurants were good quality but the food and drinks prices were crazy once you add in the tax and service. Maybe a bit of entertainment in the evenings is something the hotel is missing. Gym was not air conditioned rendering it unusable. All the staff were lovely and well trained. Overall great experience."

"Fantastic traditional room/cottage - grand room - GB4. Seconds to the beach which was fantastic. Room super clean. Pool lovely. Beach was stunning. Area is lovely but you are hidden from it if you want to be. Only criticism is the beach club next door booking out music at various times. It wouldn’t stop me from going again."

"With one major caveat, we loved this property. Nice rooms, beautiful trees, and great facilities for kids. However, the beach is absolutely awful. Completely covered in seaweed and trash. Doesn't look anything like the official pictures. Smells like rotting fish, so it's not enjoyable to hang out in that area. For a beach resort, it's totally unacceptable. Really hope the hotel can work on this, because it's a lovely place otherwise!"

"So, yes, this is very expensive for a hostel. Approx £40 per night for a dorm room. However, I cannot fault the facilities. The rooms, the lockers, the showers, the staff, the two pools, the bar area, direct access to the beach and sea. Bar is too expensive though. Had a great stay. "
