"Property is not ideally situated if you do not have your own car. Also under renovations. We had a pleasant stay. Room and bathroom were lovely. Nice and quiet. Exactly what we wanted. "

"Beautiful hotel in a central location with easy access to everything Trieste has to offer. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was modern, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent."
"Very nice stay at the DoubleTree Hilton Trieste. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and no noises from outside or neighbors. I did not have their breakfast as there are many cafés and restaurants near by to try. Location is excellent for walking around and sightseeing. The only negative remark would be the parking and valet service. The secure lot is a couple of blocks from hotel and it took up to an hour to get the car from valet, even though we asked for it for a specific time the night before.
Other than that, I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in Trieste. "
"We enjoyed our stay at the Modernist Hotel. Easy access to many areas! Room was large and comfortable. We felt bad because bathroom floor does flood a bit when taking a shower."
"Only negative comment is there are limited dining options within walking distance of hotel after 5 pm. Hotel provides buffet but it seemed fairly expensive. We found a couple good options in Postojna a five minute drive away."
