Gorgeous hotel - highly recommend
Staff very professional. Hotel stunning. Service impeccable. Room spacious with a big bath bath and comfortable bed. Only ate breakfast and it was amazing. Fluffy pancakes, a warm, fresh baked muffin and good coffee. Overall loved my quick stay and would definitely book again.

Amazing property!
Stayed at this quaint boutique hotel in Fort Kochi for the weekend! Service was outstanding! No stone was left unturned to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend this place.

Beautifully Renovated Colonial Hotel!
Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. A wonderful breakfast every morning, incredibly friendly and kind staff and the building itself is beautifully renovated. The room was super clean, the bathroom seemed new and the wifi was super fast. Would highly recommend!

Nice hotel poor breakfast
Nice location just a little away from the 'centre' but a couple of minutes walk only. No gardens and no outside space but hotel design is very nice. Proof terrace with pool is lovely. Not a lot of room for sun-beds though - there were only 4 which was fine for us as we were the only ones using it! People very nice and room was very nice - separate sitting area, bathroom and bedroom, all good size and very nicely decorated and laid out. Breakfast was extremely poor. There was a large group in the hotel at the same time who may have eaten everything but nothing was replaced and we got to restaurant to find the 'buffet' with empty plates But even so, it didn't offer much. We ate each night in Cochin Fort House Hotel which is almost opposite and was excellent. Area is nice for a day or two only in my opinion - see the fishing and the spice market and then move on.

Historical charm, still working out some kinks
The historical building is attractively renovated and the public spaces look cool. The hotel accommodated our need for two twin beds, but the room itself was quite small for a "deluxe double room". Front desk staff was very helpful, especially Pablo! Nice to have a rooftop pool, but the pool is also quite small (don't be deceived by the photo). The views from the rooms are of urban rooftops, though there is a good view of the water and an oil refinery from the roof. Areas to improve: housekeeping was not great, one bed was made with a prominent bloodstain on the corner of the bottom sheet, and one day the cleaners left a rag on top of our luggage. The first night we had turndown service with fresh water bottles, the second night no turndown. We happened to leave about an hour later that evening, but with only 16 rooms, the staff should be able to accommodate different schedules. Most of the decor is nice, but the long synthetic shag rug in the room is a terrible choice: hot and unpleasant to walk on. Air conditioning is positioned blowing directly on the beds so it's hard to cool the room without freezing yourself while sleeping. Breakfast: nice choice of Indian breakfast items, but the buffet and waitstaff were not ready by 8 AM, though breakfast is supposed to start at 730.

An Oasis in the midst of a Tourist Trap
Even though Fort Cochi is a terrible tourist trap--we spent more money here in one day than we did in five days elsewhere--the Hotel Ayana is an oasis in the midst of it all. Spacious rooms, amazing water pressure in luxury showers, attentive hotel staff and all of the amenities one could ask for makes this place an exceptional stay.

Probably the friendliest staff I have ever met in a hotel. So so good. Very service oriented and as helpful as they could possibly be...

Pleasant stay and great service
We just stayed there for one night. Were able to check in early and had enjoyed the stay in this place very much. It was clean and also nicely furnished. The roof top pool was nice. The bathroom had a very good shower with great water pressure. The breakfast was delicious and ample. We recommend to go for the Indian breakfast instead of Western, but both is available.
