As our first time staying in a “love hotel” we weren’t quite sure what to expect, thinking it may be a little seedy. However, had we not been aware of this fact, there is nothing about it that was any different from other hotels except that the room and bathroom were huge. The staff were polite and helpful as in all the other hotels we stayed during our trip in Japan. We enjoyed using the enormous jacuzzi bath and the massage chair too. There was a vast range of toiletries and complimentary water and snacks (not the usual compared to other hotels). Yes, the first channel you choose on the tv is pornography, but there are the normal channels too (none in English). You do need a car to get here and there’s not much nearby but the free parking is one of the main reasons we picked it. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was fine. There was a large room service menu but we didn’t use it.
