Rooms very super clean. We stayed in rm. 411 and the outdoor onsen was indescribably amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer shuttle within the onsen area which is super helpful. The onsen experience was amazing. Tho’ a bit pricey, I will definitely stay here again as a treat. The Kaseiki dinner was also amazing. It was a lot of food. Almost like tapas as there are many small portions (11 courses in total). After dinner, another onsen. Out of this world experience!

Utterly sublime experience! We booked a fantastic spacious room with private onsen, worth every penny for the extraordinarily comfortable room — but the in-room onsen (while handy) isn’t necessary for privacy because the larger (indoor and outdoor) onsens get booked for private use anyway. The entire experience is blissful, including the wonderful meals. One night is nice but two provides a really restful stay.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The shuttle bus picked us up from the train station within 10 minutes. Our luggage was already at the hotel and placed in our room. Our room was ready early so we were able to go and rest a bit. We chose a room with a private onsen which was amazing after a very long day of walking. We reserved the private onsen with both types of onsen water and used that one the first evening. The area around the hotel is very hilly so the shuttle was great.

We had a wonderful stay, and here's why: - The rooms were immaculately clean, and the staff were attentive and caring. - Every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure our comfort. - We enjoyed the breakfast twice, and it was a great experience - simple yet satisfying. - The onsen facilities, both indoor and outdoor, were clean and spacious. The outdoor onsen, in particular, was a highlight, surrounded by beautiful Japanese gardens - it was the perfect way to unwind.

Everything was great from the hospitality to the service. Having a personal shuttle take you around town was great considering how "hilly" the terrain is in Arimaonsen. The onsens (hotsprings) are forbsure the main attraction and the time allotted to rent each onsen (45 minutes a session) was certainly generous. I've stayed here twice already and I'm already looking forward to returning someday.
