Très petite chambre avec lit collé au mur, un peu juste pour le tarif même pour cette période! L’endroit est bien situé car à 10 minutes à pieds de la plage et party et 7/7 à côté + café en bas du magique jardin. Beliggenheden var god, der lå en hyggelig cafe ved indgangen til pooltrap, hvilket varmt kan anbefales at prøve! Derudover lå der en 7/11 ca 50 meter nede af gaden og gå afstand til stranden (haad rin), hvor full Moon party holdes. I was very pleased with the location of Pool Trap Bungalows as it was a short walk to the beach and all the action of Haad Rin, but was far enough away that you did not have to listen to all of the noise of the party. The hotel manager was great all the way from check in to check out and is a very friendly lady. It's really walkable to the full moon party and haad run beach if that's what you're there for. Otherwise it's not the best part of Koh Phangan. The shelf that his been installed was hanging halfway off the wall by ropes that were tied to a brick and the shower head. it was broken and was just tied to the shower head to keep it on there but couldn't be used for anything. The room was very hot during the day of which the ceiling fan seemed it was on it's last leg as it was barely moving air even at max output. For the price this place was not worth it (our friend found a few private rooms with better accommodations a littler further up the hill for 450 baht a night (roughly $12 USD). I stayed at Pooltrap for 5 days for the Full Moon Party. I didn't expect much after reading early reviews, but either the reviewers had way too high expectations (this is not a 5 start hotel) or the management has improved the way they look after the place. The location is great (just a 10 mins walk from Haad Rin beach, there's an ATM right across the street and a 7/11 just 30 seconds from the place). My room was cleaned daily and the linen was changed at the same frequency. The bungalow itself was nice: a double bed and a safe in the bedroom and a pretty big shower/toilet at the back. I like the "outdoor" layout of that room. There's a door in the bedroom leading to some steps which take you down to the big shower/toilets which is covered by a roof built in such a way that it lets sunshine in.
