"Odd find on Orbitz for holiday trip with family turned out to be a great space for parents traveling with kids, kitchen available for use, clean but sparse decor. Owner was very responsive to inquiries, definitely recommend."

"What a gem, the staff, and managers (Brian and Jason) were excellent. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was absolutely fantastic(breakfast, bar meals and the Italian). The food was always hot, tasty and served beautifully. I would fully recommend this hotel."

"It's an ancient hotel building with a maze of narrow halls and wonky flooring covered in thickly padded tartan carpet. The rooms were nice and roomy enough, but no a/c or fans, though the windows let in enough of an ocean breeze to keep us cool. Area pubs are great, as was the hotel bar. Everything is walkable but it's not a tourist town. People live there and the shops reflect that."
