"It seemed the property was not ready for guests. The rooms and shelves were not very clean. The sink leaked and the bath drainage took a long time to drain. The stoves for cooking did not have knobs for turning it on. You could hardly see with the light in the bathroom when we arrived. The sofa was torn and squeaked. "The hosts are charming and very helpful. We felt most welcome. The stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. There was evidence by way of ash and ends caught in the rail of the sliding doors of the bedroom leading out to the pool, that someone had smoked in the room which was unfortunate."

"The guest house is very clean and neat and the gardens well kept. Parking however was a problem, as was the entering and exiting the property. Breakfast which was included, was really disappointing. Some cereal, yoghurt, watered down juice of no discernable flavour, coffee and tea and a choice of 4 options for the hot meal. One option was Halaal and the rest were exactly the same, only the choice of sausage differed.Surely in a province rich in tropical offerings, some avocado and fresh fruit...
