great except for lack of heat control

Posted 30-Sep-2016
Pros: pool, room, breakfast, lobby
Cons: have extra blankets available because you can't turn up the heat
Location: beautiful klamath falls, or . went to crater lake and downtown festival. bounce house for kids...and adults. river and parks. beautiful weather
The room and staff were great. The pool and hot tub are great. Breakfast was good. All good except that the knobs have been removed from the heater/a.c. units so that you cannot control the temp of your room. Fine for me, but I heard complaints

Good hotel

Posted 28-Sep-2016
Pros: Large room and facilities
Cons: A quieter air conditioner as bed room was too warm but couldn't have air con on as too noisy
Location: Easy to get off highway, not close to downtown, but this didn't matter as a few eating options nearby
Easy to find and a very spacious room. Over looked two major roads but no noise problems during the night. We used their restaurant for dinner and enjoyed our meals. Free breakfast was also great.

We really enjoyed the quality of the food at the hotel. Great hot breakfast and a steakhouse worthy dinner.

Great Place

Posted 26-Sep-2016
Pros: Location, clean and refreshing room, staff and a wonderful breakfast.
Cons: Can't thing of anything.
Location: Shopping, farmers markets and farms with great veggies and fruits.
We were very impressed with the hotel, staff, food and room. Wish there were more Shilo Hotels near us, we would definitely stay there instead of some of the bigger chains.

Klamath to Crater Lake

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Pros: Large rooms, the personnel, at dinner Janel our waitress was great.
Cons: The morning buffet was just average.
Location: We went to Crater Lake, about an hour +, north of the hotel
Four couples golfed at Sunriver Resort, then onto to Crater Lake. Needed a place to stay not too far from Crater Lake. We booked The Shilo Inn, and we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the rooms and the service was. The building looked new and was in great condition. The rooms were very large and comfortable. The front desk personnel and the wait staff were exceptional.

Great dog Friendly hotel

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Pros: Staff was wonderful
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Nice parks and lakes for my dog to play and swim. Antique shops nearby. Sizzler Restaurant was yummy. My husband loves the Golf Courses nearby.
Checked in early while husband was golfing. Font office gal was great, friendly and very accomadating. Our room was clean, bottom floor and right outside a beautiful grassy area for my dog to run and potty.

Dirty room

Posted 20-Sep-2016
This was the 2nd time wever had stayed here, the 1st time was fine. This time however as soon as we opened the door we were overwhelmed with the smell of dog feces and the stains on the carpet from dogs going to the bathroom in the room was disgusting. I understand it's a dog friendly hotel that's why we stayed there, we brought our dog. But the room was completely unsanitary. When I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk during checkout she didn't even apologize, just wrote my room number on a pice of paper.

Nice Hotel, close to points of interest for us.

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Pros: Easy to get to location.
Cons: Train all staff to be friendly, smile and be helpful. Clean the stains off the carpet before renting out the room again.
Location: Nice small town location. Crater Lake within 60 miles, Lake of the woods a little closer.
Found this hotel on line and decided to give it a try. We checked in early (11:30am), but the room wasn't ready for us yet. Went out for a tour of the town, eat lunch and then came back to leave our things off in the room. We came back to the hotel a little after 3pm and were told that the room still wasn't ready. We waited about 20 minutes and I went on up to the 4th floor to see how the maids were doing. No maids, all rooms were ready up there. I came back down to find out why the staff were having us wait. My husband met me at the elevator to tell me that the paperwork had been the hold up. We found the room to be clean with the exceptions of two large stains on the carpeting in the living area of our suite. Staff were friendly and helpful on the second day of our stay. The first day when we checked in the gal who told us that our room wasn't ready, must have been new, as she wasn't very friendly. Just all business, no smile of welcome from her. Over all, we would stay here again if we come to this Klamath Falls location again.
