While in the region, visit the Kanzeonji Temple and Dazaifu Tenmangu in Dazaifu, about 6 miles (10 kilometers) to the south of Kiyama.
While you are staying in Kiyama, don't forget to experience Fukuoka. Approximately 13 miles (21 kilometers) to the northwest, this regional transport and shopping hub is where you can find Maizuru Park, Fukuoka Convention Center and Higashi Koen.
