Kiyama Vacation Packages
When it comes to getting the best from your travels, it's worth remembering that Kiyama is merely the tip of the iceberg; Saga has been blessed with an abundance of scenic wonders. While in the region, visit the Kanzeonji Temple and Dazaifu Tenmangu in Dazaifu, about 6 miles (10 kilometers) to the south of Kiyama.
While you are staying in Kiyama, don't forget to experience Fukuoka. Approximately 13 miles (21 kilometers) to the northwest, this regional transport and shopping hub is where you can find Maizuru Park, Fukuoka Convention Center and Higashi Koen. Fukuoka Kokusai Center, Fukuoka Dome and Kego Shrine a few of the other attractions worth visiting for those who have time to spare.
A good way to bond with the locals is talking the local tongue, so while in the area it is a great idea to learn a number of basic Japanese expressions and sentences. "Isshoni odorimasenka?" is good to know. In English, it means "Would you like to dance with me?" And, learning "Benjo wa doko desu ka?", which translates to "Where's the toilet?", can make all the difference.
As the sun sets on your adventures, spend your last yen on last-minute keepsakes and say Sayōnara to the locals you've met and the great places you've seen.
