Weekend golf outing to OBX
Host notified me two days before arrival that we could check in at noon vs 4:30 pm. Unfortunately we had already made a tee time for golf to finish at 4 timing it for the 4:30 check-in. I asked for the access code to share it with the others staying with me. I was told I would not get the code until noon as that was the check-in time. Every other place I have stayed sends the code several days to a week in advance. The on day of check-in I didn't get the code until 1:30, well after the noon check-in I was allowed. The pool table is up in the 3rd floor which isn't easy to get up the spiral staircase. Plus all cue sticks and no tips so the pool table was useless. Some of pans are scratched and need replacing. Beds were comfortable and house clean. BBQ grill is aging and not placed for easy grilling access. Overall the stay was average.

Annual family get-away
Our family picks a vrbo house in NC every summer. We drive from MA and others from FLA. This is our first OBX vacation but it won't be our last. The house was perfect to comfortably accommodate our crew!

Bathrooms and kitchen need updating, leak under the kitchen sink, bathroom toilets didn’t fill properly and he tanks often continued to run. The kitchen was adequately supplied, but we needed to be concerned about the leak whenever we washed dishes or used the dishwasher.

Great location.
Far enough from the busy beach area to not get the noise. 20 minute walk to beach or take a 6 minute Drive. The house is well set up and stocked with the essentials. Kitchen is ready to cook at home to avoid the crowded restaurants. The pool is very nice with outdoor lighting, speakers and plenty of seating. The pool/ hot tub area is fully enclosed for privacy. Our kids loved the upstairs party room and it kept things quite for the adults.

Great place to stay!
Excellent family vacation in this home. Kitchen was well furnished. We enjoyed lots of family time in the pool and hot tub. The walk to the ocean beach was an easy walk and the neighborhood felt safe. Highly recommend.

The house had everything we needed. This is the first rental we’ve stayed in that we didn’t feel like we needed to wipe everything down before unpacking. The house has plenty of space and the pool area was great.

Large house perfect for a group vacation
Spent a weekend here for a friends bachelorette party, and couldn’t have asked for a better house. The pool and hot tub absolutely made the trip, and the house had ample space for our group. It’s not on the beach, but the woods were beautiful and it was a very quick drive to the nearest beach access.

Obx bile week getaway
This house was perfect for a group of bike riders to stay and the owners allowed us to park our motorcycles inside the garage. House was very clean and well-built. Would definitely recommend this residence to others. Communication was excellent with owner and texted us the code prior to arrival.

Beech House!
Craig and Judy were amazing hosts. Quick to help, answer questions. Even went out of their way to have the pool opened before they needed to for us! House was beautiful and there was so much room for our family of 5. Seeing neighbors out walking dogs, and having them recommend places to go was so nice.

Always a pleasure to hear from happy guests! Thank you. We enjoyed, what we suspect, having duck hunting being the major draw for our guest. Although less common than our fishing enthusiasts, this beautiful coastal area is well-known for duck hunting. In fact one of our close neighbors is among the best duck-hunting guides in the world. They (Vic & Ellen Berg) also sell their hand- carved and hand-painted water fowl figurines and decoys at the local (KDH) shop, The duck Store.

Great location and comfortable home
The house is just minutes from the beach, grocery stores, meal options. We purchased takeout several times and ate it in the home. The house is full of comfy furniture and open spaces for a large group to visit. We had two small dogs with us, and we enjoyed walks on the streets surrounding the house. The neighborhood is quiet.

Perfect for groups with kids of all ages.
The pictures do not do this home justice. This proper far exceeded our expectations. The pool and top level rec room were prefect for our kids to just let loose and play while the adults prepared meals in the beautiful and fully stocked kitchen. My favorite was eating breakfast on the screen covered porch and ending the evening relaxing in the hot tub. We had 3 families there at once and there was plenary of space for everyone. This home offers many amenities inside the home and the garage is packed with all your beach and vacation essentials, including, beach chairs, boogie boards, surf boards, sand toys, pool floats and bicycles. The neighborhood is lovely, with a wooded trail right next to the property. Only a 2 min drive to the beach where finding parking was a breeze. Judy and Craig, the owners of this property, were so wonderful and very attentive to all our questions during our stay. There are a few groceries stores close by, with at least one being open 24 hours. We loved our visit so much that we booked another stay as soon as we got home. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Great House!
Our week at the house was fantastic! It had everything we needed and more. We traveled with another family and the house was very spacious and perfect for everyone to play together or have space to themselves. Communication with the owner was challenging, but thankfully we didn’t need anything once we finally got checked in and had the access code. The neighborhood was close to the beach and neighbors were friendly. We’d happily stay here again!

Perfectly relaxing stay
Property was nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and only a quick 5 minute drive away. We very much enjoyed the house as we could choose to go to the beach or stay and enjoy the pool and hot tub. The house is pretty centrally located to all things Outer Banks. Perfect Location for a family getaway.

Just what we needed!
Home was a wonderful fit for our family of children, parents and grandparents. The private pool was the perfect size, and the hot tub so relaxing. The house was big enough for individual privacy, and the common areas served us well as a group. The furnishings were very family friendly with toys and games and videos that were a hit with the 2 yo and 11 yo. We loved the quiet and all the trees. We were only minutes from the beach, stores and restaurants. Craig & Judy are very caring hosts and went the extra mile for us to have a memorable vacation.

Spacious Home with Many Amenities
First time house renters and first time to the OBX for our family of 6. The Beech House had several areas for us to spend together or to be alone. Loved: rooms (& our king bed lol), pool, pool table, grill, DVDs, puzzles & games, screened-in porch, kitchen supplies, W/D, closet & pantry space, garage including pool and beach supplies, location, etc. Family favorite was the Jockey Ridge dunes. A few hiccups ~ lots of bath towels, but only a few hand towels & washcloths and only 1 dish towel were provided. (We bought a dish towel which my daughter who didn't get to bring her dog kept since it had retrievers on it. $150 seems steep for linens & towels). Main tv was missing the remote, only two usable bikes, outside shower had obviously not been used by prior guests (we turned on inside valve & friendly neighbor came to fix), only 3 "beach" chairs, and my son looked up the last night how to cool off the hot tub which was too hot (Judy concurred w/the "fix"). Judy was very apologetic about the miscues. There was plenty of soaps (hand soap, dishwasher, dish, and laundry soap) which was very nice. One suggestion would be to bring Tupperware or Ziploc bags which we brought for our leftovers. Overall, the house was very nice! Thanks Judy and Craig! I hope your visit was nice, too!

This property is really special. It is set among huge swathes of trees in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that borders a nature preserve and is marvelous for walkers. yet is only a short way to the beach.

Awesome rental home
This was a wonderful vacation rental . The house was extremely clean with lots of amenities . The kitchen was fully stocked , lots of plush towels provided and an excellent location . The pool and hot tub were very clean this is one of the best rentals we have stayed in and we have been coming to OBX for 25 years. This was the first through VRBO we will definitely be using again . We hope to return to this rental again in the future with our family & friends .

This home is nice and close to alot of attractions. I enjoyed the home very much it was comfortable and spacious. Make sure you specify phone number for door code as I thought they would use the number on file, we didn't get access till almost 5 when check in was 4:30. All else was good!

This is a great house that your family will enjoy. My family, friends and myself had a great time enjoying this property and the neighborhood. Everything is close by “restaurants, convenient stores “Walmart”and the beach. The hot tub and the pool were nice and clean and the pool table in the 3er floor was a great add on. I would definitely invite you to stay there. And definitely we rent this property on my next visit to OBX !!!

Great weekend stay
We came down for a short weekend getaway for my birthday. The house was plenty spacious for the 8 of of us and had plenty of things to keep everyone busy. Our college girls loved the privacy of the upstairs game room/sleeping area. The surround sound system was great while outside in the pool and hot tub. The house it on a quiet street yet close to shopping and the beach without all the noise. This will definitely be added to our favorites list as a must stay again. Great Stay at Sea Scape
We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Scape. The kids loved the pool - lots of floats and toys. The parents loved the hot tub! The house itself is very cute and well maintained with a well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms offer many options in terms of sleeping arrangements. The woodsy setting is peaceful and quiet and the neighborhood is safe. There is just a short drive to the beach and to places to shop. The owners were responsive to a couple of minor problems we had and were very friendly. Overall, we had a great time and would stay there again.

The house had quite a few issues that the property owner tried to say we caused. Stated the property was in not condition to rent and would delay next tenants. Door knob needed2 screws and one bed looked like I board under bed broke which was already that way when we arrived Also they wanted us to wash towels which I have never done in any property I rented especially when you pay 150.00 for linens. Feel like we were set up purposely. Be aware before you rent take pictures of everything.

Wow - thanks Melissa !! Our neighborhood is just perfect - safe distance from beach, but close enough to be super convenient, or a pleasant leisurely heavily-wooded stroll. Our neighbors surely added an invaluable measure to our guests stay as well, as they are very congenial and helpful. We appreciated your flexibility on the installation day as well. We loved the idea of a wedding party group staying with us. Most of all: C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !!!
