Beach Access: Beach walkway is located in front of the house. Wooden walkway leads from house to the beach directly north of Kitty Hawk Pier. Heated pools are available Week Prior to Easter through Memorial Day and Labor Day Week through Mid-October. Pools are set at a comfortable 78-80 degrees during the heated season. Please note that for optimal performance, outside temperatures must remain around 60 degrees or warmer. Various weather conditions such as wind speed and direction can affect the heat performance. No Smoking/Vaping. Dogs Allowed. Private pools open Easter through Columbus Day. All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement. Beach is close enough to enjoy the walk. Could walk to the Run Down Cafe in the a.m. for bloody marys. Cross the street to Steamers, and Walgreens. Pool just great. It was not very clean when we arrived, so my daughter made sure the kitchen was cleaned up. There were ants all over the stove and coming up from a corner of the island. We got ant traps and spray and it did not help so we called and they sent an exterminator out. I think they must have had fleas, because some of us had bug bites all over. We kept checking our dogs and because we give them medication to stop fleas, they did not have any sigs of them. The house needs to be fumigated. All the doors need to be repaired. On a few occasions someone had to help people to get out of the bathroom, because the door would not unlock. It was not all bad. I would stay there again if the rent would be a little less, and it was cleaned up a bit. ##### Charlie S.
