New for 2026: New to Outer Banks Blue! Scheduled for completion before the rental season: private pool with an enclosed pool deck and hot tub! Top-level queen/twin bedroom will be converted into a bedroom with 2 Pyramid bunks (twin over full).  
  
Welcome to Sea Glass Shack, a recently built and tastefully decorated rental designed for the ultimate beach vacation! Tucked among the trees in Southern Shores on a spacious lot, you'll enjoy one of the area's more secluded locations, while only being 1.5 miles from the popular shops and restaurants in Duck Village. Guests will also appreciate the privilege's of the Southern Shores Civic Association - 33 beach access points (the closest is less than .5 miles away and includes parking, restrooms/showers, and a gazebo) and access to the Soundview Park on North Dogwood Trail, where you can enjoy a children's playground, kayak launch, sandy beach, and more. There's even a sunset viewing platform just down the street!  
  
Entering on the main-level, you'll find a relaxed and practical gathering space, with a kitchen island for prepping meals or sharing snacks, a dining area inside and out on the deck, and a cozy living room with natural light and room to spread out. The king en suite on this floor is the largest bedroom, with a double vanity and beautiful glass shower. The top-level features a 2nd King bedroom that shares a jack-and-Jill bathroom with a bedroom that includes a queen and two twin beds (each with a trundle)—an ideal setup for families with kids or teens. Head down to the ground-level, for an additional queen bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry area—perfect for early risers or guests who prefer fewer stairs.  
  
Outdoor spaces are designed for downtime: a wide back deck with comfortable seating, a covered outdoor dining area with picnic tables and a grill for easy meals after the beach, and a fire pit in the backyard for family lore and time spent together under the stars. An enclosed outdoor shower makes cleanup simple after a sandy day. Sea Glass Shack is a perfect find for those seeking a peaceful Outer Banks escape with coastal charm, plenty of space, and easy access to the best natural features of the beach.
