Certainly you have the private pool, hot tub, and plenty of space, but add the volleyball net, shaded back yard, and all the Duck Landing amenities and you have a winner! Close to the beach access and indoor community facilities so even a little rain won't let you down. The rec room has a media area with seating, foosball and a full size pool table. On the top level the great room is spacious for a large gathering, and there is an additional mid-level den…divide and conquer! Hardwood and classic decor add character to this lovely Duck beach house. Exit from the ground level rec room opens to a fenced Patio leading to Gated Pool Deck. “Lazy Dayz” is located in Duck Landing, right in the middle of Duck Village. Closer to the beach, but still within walking or biking distance through the village for quaint shops, sightseeing and watersports. The teens and older kids will have a blast using the community amenities. You will have year round access to the indoor clubhouse that includes a heated indoor private pool, heated kiddie pool, bath and changing facilities, game room with pool table, foosball table, ping pong, and a fitness room. There are outdoor tennis courts for your use, and even oceanfront parking, although the house is an easy walk to the beach access. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. We had plenty to do at the house and the shops in Duck were great. The quick walk to the beach and the pool were an added bonus. Our family didn’t want to leave. Our stay was wonderful, the couple issue we had with property was taking care of very quickly by the property manager that was very quick with communication. The only thing I would recommend I'd the owners of the house invest in fixing the handrails on decks. They were very loose and worn. Some places not even connected to one another. The maintenance guy repair to the best of his ability for a temporary fix. But with small children in house it is very unsafe. I really hope owners take the safety of there guest in consideration with the decision to make the repairs, as it is a very lovely home and I would hate for bad to happen to anyone causing harm. ##### Robert C.
