One-night stay for the sunrise hike

The hotel is great strictly because of the views it affords of the Gunung Batur caldera, and as a basis for the sunrise hiking expedition to the volcano. The room is reasonably good, but it tends to be expensive as value for money. Service is competent but not all that great, and the buffet food at the restaurant is not recommended (a la carte is better), which is a bit of an issue since there are not that many dining choices in the area.

A éviter si vous recherchez un minimum de confort.

Hôtel très mal entretenu, impossible de recharger mes appareils électroniques car le système électrique date du début du siècle dernier. Les cadres de portes sont pourris et les serrures fonctionnent très mal . Les repas sont très très ordinaires et même mauvais. C’est pas un trois étoiles c’est même pas un deux.

Et utroligt flot beliggende hotel med udsigt direkte over på Mount Batur og Lake Batur liggende nedenfor til højre. Samtlige hoteller jeg efterhånden har boet på, har alle uden undtagelse har løst siddende toiletbræt. Kan varmt anbefale stedet.

It was picturesque. the view from our room is exactly like these pictures show, because we were upgraded to the mountain view room. The downside was there were a LOT of bugs, but not harmful ones. so many moths, large flies, etc, because it was the lake area. So you had to manage that in your room big time. The washroom area was clean and nice, overall the bed was decently comfortable and we felt safe. The restaurant is very nice and has good food that you can also order to the room to eat, which is a nice feature.

Good for the price

Hard to find a good hotel in Kintamani in the 500000 idr range this one is probably one of the better ones in that price range .

Most spectacular views with professional service.

The view in the rooms are amazing! The restaurant connected to the hotel served some of the best Indonesian meals we’d had in our two weeks in Bali. Try the chicken sate!

Vue magnifique sur le lac

La chambre offre une vue magnifique sur le lac et les volcans. Le personnel est très compétant (ils savent vous conseiller en cas de besoin). C’est un regal de prendre le petit déjeuner avec une aussi jolie vue. L’hotel a été un peu dur à trouver (sur la droite en montant) mais les habitants très gentils nous ont aider à trouver ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

What a veiw.

I thought that this hotel overall was pretty good. The reviews were not great but I came anyway and found it was not that bad. The veiw is spectacular from the room and balcony, over looking the lake and mountain. The room was comfortable though a bit old. The bathroom was a little smelly but this does happen in Bali, especially with older hotels. The staff were nice. Breakfast was very average, but, the view again was great. Kintamani is a bit of a weird place but worth coming to take in scenery.

Not recommended.

Room was very dark and moist. The whole room was smelling like mould and you could see mould at the walls. The beds were old and saggy.The toilet area was old, rusted and not cleaned properly, with an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice. The view on a sunny day is amazing! Although we paid for three nights in advance we left after two because the experience in the eco lpdge room was too bad.

Highly disappointed

The rooms were nothing like the pictures. And to make it all worse, on our first night out of two there apparently was a mixup with the booking and they did not have our rooms available for us until the next day. So they offered our group the dormitory room, which was absolutely horrible and disgusting. In return for the inconvenience they had given us a 4 course meal at their restaurant, which evidently enough was tasteless and horrible.

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit super Blick

Die Terrasse und der Blick auf Vulkan und See sind überragend, das Hotel selbst ist mehr als renovierungsbedürftig, vor allem das Bad, das wir hatten. Essen ist okay, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Unfassbar tolle Aussicht

Das Lakview-Hotel liegt wunderbar mit herrlichem Blick auf das Tal, die Berge und den See. Unbedingt mitmachen sollte man die Tour auf den Mt. Batur. Kann vom Hotel aus gebucht werden und es geht um 3 Uhr los, so dass man zum Sonnenaufgang oben ist. Anstrengend, aber unfassbar toller Blick.

Very old unfortunately

We stayed at Lakeview Eco Lodge for one night prior to a sunrise trek to Mt Batur. The location of the lodge is fantastic with a beautiful sweeping views of Mr Batur, Lake Batur and Mt Agung and the whole basin, but unfortunately the lodge is severely in need of upgrading. The staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be.

Vue magnifique de la chambre mais...

La chambre n'a rien à voir avec la photo, tout est vieillot et sans charme. La porte du balcon ne ferme pas bien, prévoyez votre moustiquaire (il y a un crochet prévu à cet effet). La douche n'était pas chaude à 3h pour le départ de la rando, ni à 9h au retour, il a fallu que je le signale à la réception pour que ce soit réparé. Ensuite elle était bouchée et on a eu une piscine dans la salle de bain. Restaurant vraiment pas bon: on a presque rien manger au dîner et petit déjeuner. Seul point positif: le trek proposé par l'hôtel était un peu cher mais le guide super et il nous a fait passer par des chemins moins passagers.

La vue est incroyable. MAIS Il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude dans la chambre et le filet d'eau était très faible, il fait froid dans la région, surtout après l'ascension du Bromo ! Personnel très peu aimable qui ne voulait pas nous laisser prendre le petit déjeuner car ils avaient confondu avec un autre groupe. Cela dit le petit dej avait l'air copieux et varié mais nous n'avons eu finalement accès qu'à une seule partie du buffet. Petits details: grosse fuite de la chasse d'eau, billard dans la salle commune symp
