Stunning beach front bach
A lakeside property only meters from the water’s edge. Situated on a large section in a quite cul-de-sac this property is ideal for children. Expansive front (with stunning views) and back decks provide great indoor and outdoor entertaining areas. This property has double glazing, recently painted inside and out plus the bathroom and kitchen are new as renovated in 2024.
Take advantage of the lake at your doorstep – for swimming, fishing or kayaking. The recently completed mountain bike track is 1 minute away, the boat ramp or ski lane are only a couple of minutes and the store, restaurant, cafe, tennis courts, playground or golf courses are only ~ 5 minutes walk away.
Kinloch is equally hospitable in winter and summer - a great place for a family fisherman’s dream. Special conditions: $100 cleaning tariff applies per stay

The location of this lakeside bach is superb and i'd definitely stay again. We had such a great time being able to just pop across to swim or paddle board, we loved watching the sunset and the people coming to the lakefront, we had direct access to the w2k for biking, and it was a pretty stroll to the store. The bach itself had new, modern kitchen and bathroom, comfy beds, good shower, and was double glazed throughout. It was quiet and the deck was great.
The house is situated in a lovely area with a short walk through native forest. The house is tidy and with the beautiful sun sets you will be blown away
Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views across the lake. Being right on the lakefront makes it easy to go for a swim whenever you want.
House is clean and tidy and has a real holiday bach feeling to it.
We love Kinloch and the location of this property sets it apart from the rest. Having two decks for morning and afternoon sun and lots of outdoor seating.
Our second year staying for a week and we got a taste of summer at the start spring with the kids running safely between the water and the backyard. Having the lake access road at the front also meant plenty of biking and scootering occurred as well. Being able to put the kids to bed down the hall for the night meant we could then relax and watch the sunsets each evening.
Awesome place right on the Lake Front with Fabulous Views. Great communication and instructions throughout the whole process. A tidy house with all the necessities to make it a comfortable holiday. There is room on the deck to cover and lock up bikes if required. The General store is a 5-10 min walk for any top ups. Was nice and quiet off peak. Enjoy
I had dreamed about staying on the lakefront at Kinloch for 10 years and when I saw this property available,jumped at the chance to celebrate my birthday there quietly with my family. It was everything I could have wished for - comfortable and relaxed house in the perfect location. Penny was helpful to deal with especially when we had some medial issues and we were able to extend our stay . My only criticism would be the double bed which was very hard. Would definitely stay again but a comfier bed would make it perfect. Shout out to the Kinloch locals - what a friendly welcoming community!
This property was a great place to rent. From the location by the lake, to the property having 2 great decks on both sides of the house meaning there was always a non windy spot to sit or less sun than the other. We really recommend it and will stay again.
Fantastic location, amazing views, spectacular sunsets. Great section, with outdoor living for all times of day. Proper family bach for a family holiday. Can't wait to come again.
Property was perfect for what we needed and spectacular views.
Only issue we had was the dryer was a bit temperamental and wouldnt work but then started working an hour later when we tried again.

Absolutely loved staying here. Clean and tidy with everything you need to relax and unwind. Nice and quiet through the week. Walking, biking and swimming right on your doorstep. Thank you for making this available for others to enjoy.
So relaxing! Waterfront views during winter are just as entertaining as during the hotter months. Very cold so make the most of the heating when it snows on the other side of the lake! Make use of the walking tracks when the shower stop, there are some incredible sights along the way. Drop by the general store for a coffee and macadamia brittle! This is a very comfortable home to put your feet up and relax.
We loved our stay at Penny's family bach. It is prime lakefront and so tranquil you just feel at peace looking out the living room windows. The sky at night was majestic too. It is well worth downloading the Stellarium app for identifying the constellations. The rooms are comfortable and the bach stayed warm without the need for the overhead radiator. The shower was piping hot for five of us and the old leather lazy-boys got plenty of use. Unwind and enjoy!
