It is set among the majestic pine woods of Drumguish, with mountain views and teeming with wildlife. It is close to the town of Kingussie with its shops and golf course, and in easy reach of Aviemore with its ski slopes on Cairngorm mountain. The area is a walkers' paradise with lowland and upland trails starting direct from the cottage. Cyclists and mountain bikers also have immediate access to the tracks in Insh Forest, Glen Feshie and beyond. A lovely big garden with play area for our granddaughters. Spacious bedrooms with a twin room upstairs which the girls found exciting. Three separate seating areas, one of which was the sunroom with great views south and lots of seating and woolly blankets. Games and books for children and adults. There was nothing lacking and everything was done thoughtfully and to a high standard. The hosts lived in their own house about thirty yards away which we found reassuring given the fact we were quite naturally unfamiliar with some things. They were welcoming and friendly. We had to ask for help with one minor process and the lady came over immediately and showed us what to do. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a very good supply of nespresso coffee which pleased our son. We were very happy with our stay - but it wasn't long enough! ##### Roger M.
