Hot tub was well maintained and a perfect way to enjoy the stars even on a cold winter night. Close to lots of excellent restaurants in Kingsville and a nice bakery around the corner from the cottage. My husband and I, and a couple of our friends from US, stayed at this amazing property for a weekend in January. The property is located in a beautiful place on Lake Erie and is backing right on to the lake. The house itself is professionally staged and tastefully decorated. The hosts took care of everything for us, they even left a bottle of Sangria for us to enjoy. I can go on and on about the comfortable beds, high quality appliances, spa shower heads, majestic views of sunrise and sunset from the back window - that made our stay so enjoyable. The hot tub was an exquisite touch, and we used it every evening, stargazing with a cup of sparkling wine from a local winery. Not to mention, this place is in the middle of wine country, with many wineries to choose from. Grove restaurant and brewery was our favourite, and Black Bear winery surprised us with delicious variety of wines made of local berries, and of course the Dutch Boys chocolates that we visited in nearby Kingsville were so delicious. It is a modern house with a cozy “lake house” aesthetic. Perfect for the girls weekend getaway we were looking for! The house being nestled in the middle of several beautiful wineries was a fun surprise and we made the 10 minute drive to a few of them.
