The best property by far ! Besides the place looking make believe, the service from everyone on property is great. Always with smiles and joy. We had a butler which is the way to go because they do also everything for you. Love here and coming back to sandals!
We had a great stay at Sandals Saint Vincent. The staff was very nice and made us feel welcome from the start. We really enjoyed the activities and entertainment, which were fun and well organized. The massage at the spa was amazing and so relaxing. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we really enjoyed our time there.
The resort is beautiful and the staff is amazing! So many people went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience for us. Highly recommended!
My wife and I had a decent time at this place. It was our first experience at a Sandals resort, and overall, it was pretty solid. The only downside was the food; we thought it would be better than it was, but it was just okay. The service and hospitality definitely made our meals more enjoyable, though. Dining options were a bit limited. We really liked Buccan, especially the family-style dining where we got to chat with other couples. One thing we didn’t realize was how important having a butler is. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to get to the beach early because those with butlers get better spots and cabanas. We’re planning to check out another Sandals resort next year. I’d rate this one a 7.5 out of 10.
Overall, this is a beautiful resort with some highs and a few frustrating downsides. I’d rate it an 8/10.
The property itself is stunning, and the beach is absolutely beautiful. The food was honestly a standout—10/10 across the board. The complimentary water sports during the day were also a great perk, and there was rarely much of a wait for those.
That said, the room could have been cleaner, and the mini fridge isn’t restocked unless you specifically ask, which felt like something that should be automatic. Service overall was mixed—some staff were excellent, but others weren’t very friendly and didn’t seem too welcoming.
One big thing: I would not recommend getting a butler. It really didn’t add much value and was actually a bit inconvenient at times. The only real benefit was helping secure beach or pool chairs, which are otherwise very hard to get. If you skip the butler, I’d suggest renting a cabana instead—the service there was better anyway.
The boat transfer to the hotel was nice and scenic, but not necessarily faster than taking a cab, especially since there was still a wait.
Be prepared for “island time”—service can be slow, whether it’s waiting for food at restaurants or getting assistance from staff. Also, the crowd tends to be older (50s–60s), and things quiet down pretty early, so don’t expect much nightlife after 11pm.
The weather was a mix of sun and quick rain showers, but it didn’t take away from the experience since it usually cleared up fast.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The arrival at the resort was already an experience with singing and drinks. The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. ALL the staff was super friendly and helpful in all places. The restaurants were nice but very inconsistent. One day everything was great, the next day the buffet food was cold. The food in Butch’s was excellent but we didn’t like the atmosphere- felt like an airport lounge and very loud. For the hype we expected it to be more intimate. The food in Gatsu Gatsu was good but needs more explanation because the portions are very small and tgey should tell you to order multiple for a platter and a full meal. We definitely like Scrimshaw - great food, nice atmosphere and wonderful staff.
A few minus : the small beach gets very crowded when cruise ships are in because it’s a public beach and then people stand in front if you and put towels and chairs in front if the Sandals loungers.
We had a photo shoot for our anniversary and I was waiting 30 min ( and a second call) for an urgent missing hair dryer ( told them we had photo appointment) and then the free photoshoot was quite disappointing- at first he forgot his memory card and then he rushed through some different locations- not much Direction on doing some posing, no correction of hair, dress etc and at the end you are buying 10 pictures for 180 US$ , barely edited ( had to correct on my own) and half of them against the light and overexposed- not professional at all.
We absolutely loved our stay at Sandals At. Vincent! The staff were amazing and truly went out of their way to provide exceptional service. We consistently had great food and drinks. We also enjoyed the water sports and included activities like the bat cave, glass bottom boat tour, and snorkeling tour. We can’t wait to return in the future!
Why We Rated Sandals St. Vincent the Way We Did
Overall, we had an amazing experience at Sandals St. Vincent and truly enjoyed our stay. The resort itself was beautiful, the service was wonderful, and we had an unforgettable honeymoon.
We rated the room 4/5 primarily because the beds were not as comfortable as we had hoped, and we felt that the pillows could have been better. While the room was beautiful and well maintained, the comfort of the bed and pillows made a difference in our overall rating.
The food overall was excellent, with several restaurants standing out as favorites. Gatsu Gatsu was one of our absolute favorites, and Buccan was amazing as well. Our Candlelight Dinner was another highlight, with fantastic food and a beautiful experience. We also really enjoyed Parasol, Sora, and Isola.
On the other hand, we were less impressed with Butch’s and Scrimshaw. Considering that these are positioned as some of the resort’s higher-end dining options, we expected the food and overall experience to be a little more exceptional. They weren’t bad, but compared with the other restaurants on property, they simply didn’t stand out to us in the same way.
Overall, though, we had a wonderful experience at Sandals St. Vincent and would absolutely recommend the resort. The combination of the beautiful property, friendly service, variety of dining options, and overall atmosphere made for an incredible honeymoon.
