"Property had a great view from the kitchen. Laundry on-site. House was very clean, kitchen well stocked. We usually bring the spices we like to cook with, but there were some provided. Only thing we had to buy for the kitchen was garbage bags and a sponge.Beds were comfortable, rooms had black out curtains.House is within walking distance to downtown and the ferry.We stopped at the Ale House for a few drinks and an appetizer, they were hosting bingo! The drinks were all amazing and the appetizers were really good!We stopped at The Filling Station to get a pizza to bring back to the house. Pizza was pretty good, atmosphere was laid back.We don't plan to return to this area again, but aren't disappointed with our stay!We gave three stars for communication due to the fact that we reached out to the host right after booking and well before our stay and never received a response. Also I received two messages from host asking for payment before due date, felt a little like badgering.. we usually just let it auto charge on the due date and don't worry about it. I haven't experienced this before with VRBO or AirBnB so I don't believe it was auto generated. We didn't hear from host after that until check in and check out instructions, which were very straight forward and easy to understand.Wifi instructions are on the fridge!"

"Two couples decided to base in Kingston for a World Cup trip to Seattle for Team USA, and it was absolutely the right decision. The town was great (local WC watch parties, friendly residents, farmers market, and great local selection of food and drink), and the house was even better. Tons of comfort and charm on the inside, and idyllic landscaping outside (even had a couple of deer visit one day). And easy to hop on the ferries over to Seattle daily when we wanted to jump over to the city. Great way to spend our 16th anniversary!"

"We can’t say enough good things about Chad. He’s easily one of our favorite hosts! He was quick to respond and so helpful with local tips and anything else we needed. It is evident how much he cares for his property by the way it is curated and maintained. The home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The kitchen was stunning and exceptionally well-stocked, and there were so many other thoughtful additions throughout the house, such as candles, fresh flowers, puzzles, and games.The views are incredible, and the central location makes it the perfect home base for exploring the area. Five stars all around!"
