Great place to getaway with family and friends to enjoy kayaking, SUP, swimming, boating, fishing and amazing sunsets from the upstairs & downstairs patios. 3 bedroom home with 100 feet of waterfront on a calm, quiet cove overlooking Lake LBJ. Near the historic (inactive) train trestle bridge to the main body of Lake LBJ. The large cove right off the dock is great for swimming (3-5 feet deep around dock and no wake). Kayaks, and paddle board available upon request. Boat and jet ski rentals available right around the corner. Bring your own boat (or rent one) - there is plenty of room to tie-off on either side of the dock with a large no-wake cove. Contact owner to inquire about reserving a covered slip with boat lift during your stay (based on availability; additional fee would be required). Located on a quiet road in a private community, while being only a few minutes drive to the center of Kingsland for groceries and restaurants. The lounge areas were very nice. Upper and lower decks. We had 2 ping pong players that went at it every evening. Plenty of seating. No need to bring your own chairs. We loved it. The only issue was the wifi. It only worked the first night we were there. We kept expecting it to correct itself (we are used to less-than-stellar- Spectrum at home, who’s connection is frequently interrupted, but usually corrects on its own.). We got so used to using our hot spots that we didnt realize we still had no service until day 3 of 5\. Made a call to owner, who wanted to come check it, but we didn’t want the intrusion at that point. So he gave us instruction (disconnect the router, . . .), but we just kept on without it. It was no biggie. So we never found out if the usual maneuvers would have worked. ##### Barbara S. Mike & Lynn are great hosts and very responsive to questions. The house is clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and bed linens. The two bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels. The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There are lots of books around the house as well as several board games which we enjoyed. The house is situated on a quiet cove that is great for swimming but we also enjoyed the cornhole boards, fire pit and outside grill. We used the kayaks and paddle board on site.
