The only challenge was parking as the adjoining lane is pretty steep. I had a great time, especially since the British are incredibly friendly and courteous, especially when it comes to traffic. A very beautiful beach (South Milton Sands) is nearby. There are restaurants and pubs in Hope Cove. Great location. Beautiful cottage that has been renovated with a lot of patience and love for the building. Very special place, 'in the middle of nowhere', a real home away from home. High quality, luxury (at least for our standards) home. Pricey but worth it. Surroundings (villages, cities, beaches, hilly landscape) great to drivewalk around in for a couple of days. The cottage was perfect for our 2 day stay in Devon. The actual cottage was lovely and suited us for our short stay. The location is very remote so you will need to use your car to get around. Absolutely beautiful cottage... the most peaceful place to say. It was wonderful to hear the birds and nothing else. Everything was extremely well looked after and cared for, and felt very homely. Really lovely place to relax in. There is absolutely nothing I could fault with the cottage and would love to stay again. Perfect little cottage in a lovely peaceful village. It was beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The garden and little terrace are lovely - sitting out in the evening was a real treat. Also in a fab part of Devon, not far to lots of great beaches and towns! Hardly anything to complain about- was such a lovely stay. Just worth noting that the bed is a fairly small double (which is advertised but was pretty cosy!) and there is nothing (eg shoppub) in South Milton so just means everything is a drive but if you a prepared for that it’s no problem! ##### Bendit ---
