  • An exceptionally attractive, light and airy house at the end of a private drive. In a very quiet but central position in this picturesque village in the South Hams, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All modern facilities and furnishings are to a very high standard, including central heating and hot water. Good sized safe garden, mostly lawn, which is dog-proof. Faces south from sun-trap terrace across fields and wetlands (preserved wild life sanctuary) with views to golf course, sea, and Bolt Tail (National Trust). 5 minutes walk to the beaches, coves, golf course, tennis courts, village shop / post office, pub, bird-watching. Within 10 / 15 minutes drive for sailing, water sports, boat-hire and fishing at Salcombe, surfing at Bantham, cliff walks at Bolt Head and Burgh Island, horse-riding. 30 minutes drive to Dartmoor for trekking, horse-riding, walking.

Well-designed house,-light, airy, but warm on cold nights. Very homely feel with comfortable sitting room and open-plan kitchen. Lovely property with wonderful views

A wonderfully spacious, light, airy, comfortable house with great views across the local golf course to the cliffs and the sea. Located up a quiet lane, it is peaceful and private. Walking distance to nearby beaches, tennis courts, the local post office, pub and the SW coastal path. Extremely well equipped. A welcome bottle of wine was a lovely gesture. We enjoyed a lovely stay at Little Egret. A fully equipped house with a very convenient location. The house was large and very comfortable. We enjoyed family dinners in, delicious food at the local Village Inn and delightful walks on the beach with our dogs.

Little Egrets...not so little

Great spacious house, the most well equipped we've ever stayed in. Great location, could see the sea from bed! Great coastal walks, fantastic beaches 9all dog friendly) and small villages, shops and cafes along the way. Local pub served great food, some of the lanes were a little hairy!!

Thurlestone New Year break with family

We were delighted by the house upon arrival. It is located down a narrow lane used by walkers but virtually no other vehicles (plenty of room for our Discovery). 4 good sized bedrooms, including spacious master, 3 with comfortable zip and link 6ft beds and 1 smaller room with bunks and a single. Open fire in lounge, and comfortable if slightly dated lounge furniture, but all fine for us. Well-equipped home, light and airy and really close to the beach and the village. Excellent golf course just across the road. Really suited us for a short break over New Year with our adult children and grandson. Good property, would recommend.
