The Gig House - Relaxing Spa Break

A cosy converted cottage in our modern rustic style, nestled in the countryside with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The cottage is in West Norfolk, rurally located but only 15 minutes from the nearest town, and just off the A47. Enjoy spectacular unspoilt scenery in peace and tranquility. The perfect spot for a blissful spa break, you'll enjoy complimentary access to the spa, pool and gym at Energise Pentney, our award winning health club, less than a minute's walk from your cottage.
The space
Sleeping up to four people, The Gig House has two cosy and relaxing bedrooms which can both be set up as twins or super kings, a rustic living space with exposed beams, and a fully equipped kitchen. You’ll find a complete sense of calm at the Gig House, and you’re just a stones throw from our tranquil on-site spa, winner of Norfolk’s Best Day Spa. Fire up your traditional wood burner to top off the perfect relaxing atmosphere.

A large, comfy sofa with soft blankets will keep you snug and of course, there’s central heating too. There’s a Smart TV in the living room, as well as in each bedroom. The Gig House’s bathrooms include clean fluffy towels for your complimentary use.

Outdoor seating in your enclosed private patio overlooks the countryside (and very often some friendly sheep), giving you space to enjoy a morning coffee in the sunshine. Fire up the BBQ in the warmer months and enjoy supper al-fresco, or take a look through our curated list of recommendations for places to go.

Up to two well behaved dogs welcome.
Guest access
Our guests have access to our fields right outside the cottages. Adults (18+) also receive complimentary access to Energise Pentney Health Club, our Members only on-site gym, spa, swimming pool and Outdoor Heated Vitality Pool (‘jacuzzi’ - see photos) and relaxing Treatment Rooms, just a one minute walk away, giving you an opportunity to completely switch off. Access is shared and subject to open hours + conditions of use. The Outdoor Pool is open year round.

Under 18's have access to the indoor swimming pool only, within scheduled hours and with adult supervision.

Dogs are not allowed in the vicinity of the Outdoor Heated Vitality Pool. Glass and drinks other than water are not allowed in or around either Pool.
Other things to note
Car required - we're just off the A47 but there are no shops or pubs within walking distance.

Adults (18+) receive complimentary access to Energise Pentney. These facilities are public and shared by Members and other guests. Specific family swim hours for the indoor swimming pool are available every day. Access is only within specified open hours; further terms of use apply.
