We were met by our host at approximately 8 pm on the first night of our stay. We had provided an approximate time beforehand to help. We were then given the tour, which was extremely helpful. A great room in a fantastic location. Absolutely superb service by all the staff that we came across. We were, however, disappointed by the truncation of the menu - no beef/venison on the main menu - and we had been so looking forward to trying both. The staff told us that this was because the hotel was about to shut down for the winter. Such was the rest of our experience during this stay, we will be back next year, hopefully with beef and venison restored to the menu.
