About this property
Renovated Sunrise ski-in/ski-out townhome with skylights and wood fireplace
Click on your skis and hit the slopes when you stay at this Killington townhome, a ski-in/out retreat with a private deck and sauna, and an enviable mountainside location. Recently renovated and wonderfully located, this second-floor mountainside property is ideal for skiers, snowshoers, families, and groups of friends looking to escape the crowds of Killington's more trafficked slopes.
Your Vermont vacation begins in the living room, where exposed brick accents, large windows and skylights, and a wood fireplace create a bright and welcoming space. Leave your skis by the door as you browse the WiFi for snow reports, gaze at the mountain views, or settle in for a DVD on the cable TV. Begin each morning in the fully updated kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances to help you prepare breakfast. You can even ski home for a piping hot lunch at the dining table for six, leaving the plates for the dishwasher as you head back out. After a long summer day of swimming, hiking, or mountain biking, return home to enjoy a sunset cocktail on the deck; in the winter months, you can still enjoy the view from the cozy window seat in the dining room.
Enjoy access to Falls Brook Commons, a private sports center facility at Sunrise Mountain Village. After an exciting day of hiking or skiing, relax and enjoy the indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, or steam room. The outdoor hot tub is available for use all year round. There are also three outdoor tennis courts, plus a firepit (by reservation only). The indoor pool and spa will be open Monday through Friday. (Towels are not provided.) The outdoor hot tub is open through leaf peeping and ski season. There will be brief unscheduled closures for necessary maintenance. The outdoor pool is closed until summer.
Things to Know Amenity availability is controlled by Sunrise, not us. As such, please visit Sunrise's website for details regarding amenities. Family Ski Weekend
Location with ski on/ ski off was great but some cleanliness issues, and few other items that would need to be fixed before we returned for another trip.

Great location for skiing and accessing the mountain
The condo is comfortable and is roomy to accommodate a family or multiple couples. Your legs will get a great workout from all the stairs! Being able to use the amenities at Sunrise is a nice perk! And you have easy accessing for skiing or hiking/snowshoeing on the Madden Basin trail.
Property was nice and location was great even for an of season stay. Lots of fun close by like the killington adventure center & visiting small toes like Woodstock & ludlow. Also hiking close by!! We were a bit disappointed that the indoor pool
& hot tub were closed until the peak winter season so may mention that in the listing. We loved having the fire place & sauna inside unit.

Thoughts on stay
Location of the condo is great! Lots of Mountain View’s. Amenities were great midweek was the best time to go as there was no one there.
I would definitely consider investing in some memory foam mattresses. They are extremely old and very firm and very uncomfortable.
I would also invest in a new couch. It is so broken down and it’s riddled with stains. Other than that it was clean enough but dated.
I would also invest in some kind of chairs that wouldn’t break as you would sit down on, for the outdoor deck.

Gross, but great location
First off, this is a great location, especially if there is plenty of natural snow as you'd be able to "ski in and ski out" on certain trails over to Bear mountain. Although, there is a walk to get to these trails from the property, still cool. We experienced some issues with cleanliness which makes you question the Vacasa teams ability to maintain a simple condo. The upstairs bathroom jacuzzi was vile. There was a line of scum around the tub and in the drain. The sauna had body hair and grime on the floor. When we reported the issue shortly after arrival, we were told this would be taken care of the next day. Fair enough, cleaning crews can be unreliable. Problem is no one ever came and the Vacasa team claimed a technical difficulty. The fireplace screen also doesn't close all the way. The furniture and place as a whole needs maintenance and updating. I.e. certain lights don't work (microwaves), couch cushion has an old burn hole. The place would be great for simply a place to stay, although the king bed upstairs and very firm. But for the price, you're better off elsewhere.
The place was great!! Room for everyone, tge beds were a little hard but we loved being able to ski in/ski out right from the property! Definitely recommend staying here
Beautiful condo - great get away with my dogs and children. Plenty of space and great wood fireplace. Ski on/ski off not open but just a short distance from many of the lodges.
Great roomy condo - very comfortable and had everything we needed- location was great but since we were there early in the ski season there wasn’t enough snow to ski in or out

The neighborhood is in a great central location to skiing and restaurants. The house itself did not have a working master room tv, a keurig, a working dishwasher, any smart tv in the house, and no fire starter kit was left. All of those things were rectified by the host within 48 hours but it still was a hiccup. We appreciated the communication. Lastly, the main couch was stained with cigarette burns. Would stay in this complex but this unit.
