This was a great location and very clean room. As a female solo traveler I felt safe, loved the single room with all its amenities and convenience. Room 4 had a magical view of the mountains. Room was recently renovated and the breakfast was delicious, I would come back and the staff was really kind and communicative.

Quality and real service

Very good location as only a short a walk to town centre. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely use and gladly recommend this guest house when next in Killarney

The receptionist went out of her way to help us with check-in. The bed had some gum on the blanket and something crusty on the strip that goes across the end of the bed (Both could'veoccurredin the wash but then why put them so neatly on the bed like there's nothing wrong with it?). One of the spoons for tea was crusty, did not seem washed. It looked like someone came in, cleaned some things and left others gross from the last visitor. Overall, its a wonderful place to stay.

Desperately needs an update

Our room (room 6, Nov 2023). Had a very strong mold/mildew odor. It made it difficult to sleep and breathe. We should have left and gone elsewhere, or we should have seen if another room was available, but we were exhausted and wanted sleep. Neither of us got much sleep. The mattresses were new (delivered that day actually) but the rug and furniture was holding all sorts of terrible smells and mold. The shower had almost no water pressure, and the toilet wouldnt stop running. Additionally, tiny little sugar ants (not sure if thats what they call them here) kept showing up walking on nightstands. We did let them know upon checkout.
