Book Imperial Palace as your oceanfront respite and start living the life of luxury! Designed to impress, this pet-friendly, sumptuous home offers chic furnishings, an elevator, twelve luxurious suites with private baths (all with flat screen TVs) and exceptional entertainment options on each level. Centrally located in Kill Devil Hills, the heart of the Outer Banks, guests have easy access to historic landmarks, national parks, family adventures, and a multitude of dining and shopping opportunities.  
  
Let yourself be at ease in a landscaped outdoor area filled with amenities to enjoy throughout your stay. Lounge in the cabana and sip your drink by the custom pool as the little ones play in the inset kiddie pool. Plentiful outdoor furniture allows for lounging under the warm sun. Allow yourself to relax in the soothing hot tub and on the rooftop deck for the pristine beach views and sunbathing. Trips to and from the beach are a breeze using the private beach walkway with dune-top deck to overlook beach activities. Spruce up in the outdoor shower after a long day in the sun and sand.  
  
As you enter the first level, you will find a well-equipped rec room which includes a pool table, foosball table, plush sofa seating, and mounted flat screen TV. A kitchenette and bar area are equipped with a sink, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and bar seating. An upscale, private 13-seat theater room with tiered seating, and a high-end projection screen and surround sound system provides the perfect setting for any Hollywood blockbuster! A half bathroom can also be found on this level. Also on the first level, you will find three elegant King En Suites (one with Jacuzzi tub, mini fridge, sitting area and two-sided seasonal gas fireplace) and two kid-friendly suites with private baths that are each furnished with two Twin Pyramid Bunk sets.  
  
Walk up to the second level where you will find six King En Suites, each with a flat-screen TV. Two of these suites provide a sitting area, a two-sided seasonal gas fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and mini refrigerator. One of the King En Suites is oceanfront with direct access to the covered deck. A laundry room is centrally located. An oceanfront sports bar on the second level is furnished with cushy reclining chairs, three mounted flat screen TVs and a bar equipped with a full refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, and bar seating. The sports bar also has direct access to the covered deck that overlooks the pool area. There is a half bathroom on this level as well, for convenience.  
  
Vaulted ceilings, columns, ceramic tile and elegant furnishings greet you as you ascend to the third level of the home. Stunning panoramic ocean views are center stage with the wall-to-wall windows. One sitting area offers sofa seating and water views, and a second sitting area features sofas arranged around a seasonal gas fireplace and flat screen TV. A central bar is equipped with a sink, wine cooler, ice maker, mounted flat screen TV and bar seating. A table for six is ideal for card games or drinks and snacks. Two dining areas each provide a table for formal meals. The high-end gourmet kitchen overlooks the great room and boasts an abundance of space with its granite countertops. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances including two 48" refrigerators, two dishwashers, double ovens, two microwaves, two cooktops and bar seating for casual dining. A half bathroom is available to those in the great room. Throw open the doors in the great room and walk out to a furnished sun deck that offers spectacular ocean views, sunrises over the Atlantic, and gorgeous sea breezes. A grand King En Suite completes the top floor and has a private balcony, two-sided seasonal fireplace, flat screen TV, mini refrigerator and a Jacuzzi tub.

Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $50 per night of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay.  
  
This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.\*\*  
  
\*\*Private heated pools will open on April 1st and close on November 1st. Hot tubs are open year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter the backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.\*\*

Great location - Nice big house to accommodate our big family. The cleanliness of the house was not great. Sticky appliances, floors dirty, and items broken. Those items didn’t stop us from having a good time.

A number of maintenance issues with this property. Door locks hit or miss so able to access even though keyless entry code did not work first day. But if we could get into the house so could others. One guest had to repair bed three times as it came apart at bed time. One oven appears to have had a grease fire inside, one microwave did not work. One dishwasher had a shelf that would fall when pulled out. One refrigerator had shelf that would not stay in place. And many rusted. The smooth top cookstove had caked on food which indicates not being cleaned when spills occurred nor after check out. More examples can be provided on request.
