For the price I suppose it was suitable. It was very clean and staff was nice. The bed and and pillows was the most uncomfortable, did not get a good nights sleep either night. If you need a cheap stay this is the place. but i would have shelled out another 20-30 bucks a night to be able to get sleep.

Welcome to the 1980s! When I arrived to check in, the woman said I have to fill out a piece of paper with the same information that I already registered on my Expedia profile. And it's the same information that's already printed on my driver license she was holding. I told her that her hotel already has all of this information, so why should I waste time writing it on a piece of paper? She just said that everyone has to do it. If it weren't so late at night, I would have walked out right then. Does Expedia's software not work in Kilgore, like it works everywhere else in the country? If not, when did it become MY job to fill out little pieces of paper that I don't want? She can fill it out later, after I've gone to bed. That's like handing you a mop and bucket and telling guests that they're supposed to mop the floor of their room. Also, the lobby was always locked, day and night. They have dispensers for coffee and hot water and tea in the lobby; you're just not allowed to access them. There are better hotels out there. Avoid this one.

Perfect get away
The staff were nice and friendly. Non-refund Pet deposit was $20 per dog per night 2 dogs per room. Denny's and a TA was right across the street.

It was very humid in the room, no matter how cold I put the AC, it wouldn’t get cold enough. I had a dirty towel in my restroom, when I got out of the shower the towel had dirt marks on it. THE SHOWER WATER IS TERRIBLE. The water is slimy. I could not get off the layer of slime it was leaving on my body. The bed sheets had an unpleasant smell. I only needed a room for a few hours to get some rest during my road trip , but I would NOT stay here again.

The rooms were fine. The reclining chair in my room would close all the way. It needs attention. But overall, it was a decent and cheap hotel

Check in easy. Room ok. TV difficult to work and no directions. Staff member gave a brief instruction but only 2 channels worked. The chair had broken footrest. Coffee pot only enough for coffee for 1 cup each and difficult to assemble. Minimal towels, etc.

Very disappointed
Not sure how this property got the ratings that are posted, but I reserved a single king room, I was given a queen double, the property was not busy at all. Bathroom light out, recliner was torn and would not stay closed, no trash can liners in trash cans.

Accommodations recently remodeled. Only downside was that the large cushioned chair had to have been recycled from pre-remodeling. Pretty disgusting. Plus side is it's across street from Dennys.

You may find a cheap with a good review and high score. When I traveled with I-20 in Texas, I felt lucky to find this hotel and reserved the afternoon for my night. Overall, the quality of the hotel is miserable. Those are examples of errant things - It looks like bed bugs on the bed, the gym was closed and used for a storage room, equipment such as an iron and an iron board were not there, the area looks not nice, and the breakfast was not provided. The TV is old, the channel is minimal and does not work well. I cannot trust the score and the review here.

Short 2 night stay while i was in town umpiring. Service was great. It was late when i got to the hotel but the lady was very polite and courteous. This is the 3rd year in a row that i stayed at this hotel and they havent disappointed me yet

Found it strange that to check in before 7:30 pm I had to hit the night buzzer twice and then call for someone. Lock out hours were posted as 10pm to 6am. Was still locked out when we checked out in the morning at 8:30!
