We had a magnificent stay! Everything was perfect from the location to the amenities. Having coffee on the lanai each morning was one of the highlights of our trip. We had 4 kids from 6-11 years old and they were able to enjoy the pool and nearby beaches. We will be booking again when we return to Maui, which can’t happen soon enough!

Amazing stay

Our stay was nothing but amazing!! It was nice going out to the balcony and enjoy the sound of the waves and the sunset. The hosts were amazing and communicative. Check in was easy as well. Everything was about five to ten minute drive. Will definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful beach views in lovely condo

Great condo with fantastic location! We absolutely loved our stay here for a little over a week! Lots of space for 2 families and the easy beach access and pool on property were fabulous!

Beautiful place for a relaxing vacation

Great location on the beach for a family

Great location on the beach. Wonderful to be able to walk out from the living room to the ocean in 30 seconds or less. Everything you need to buy is only 5 minutes drive. Fancy resort restaurants in 15 minutes. Look forward to returning soon as we can.

Great Stay!

Had a wonderful time here in Kihei. The condo was perfect. Clean, roomy, great location, beautiful view, nearby supermarkets, lots of restaurants and additional shopping. Just steps from the beach with snorkeling that had the added joy of being a turtle habitat. Spent the Christmas & New Year holidays here & would happily do it again!

The place was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a nicer spot. Jim is a dream to deal with and extremely responsive on everything. Very accommodating for our family. Nothing bad to say about the place or our experience, loved every minute of it. Can’t wait to go back!

Great accommodations in a fantastic location!

My wife and I stayed there with 2 other couples (Jan 31 - Feb 14, 2024) and absolutely loved it! The accommodations were great and the "central" location (Kihei) is a real benefit to visiting anywhere else on the island. In addition to being able to watch the whales "play" every day, having a bunch of giant sea turtles almost outside our patio door was really special! We highly recommend this place.....2 thumbs up!

Maui family vacation.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Menehune Shores. The condo was clean, well stocked and located in a great location on the property. The grounds and pool are very well maintained . We enjoyed being able to swim and see sea turtles in the ancient hawaiian fish pond in front of the complex. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

Maui Beach Front

This place is absolutely perfect for a family with little kids. They can run around on the lawn in front without getting in trouble. The little protected beach is also perfect for little ones since the waves never get big. The big beach is good for long walks. The patio with an unobstructed view of the ocean is great for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. We all had a wonderful time here.

Beautiful View!

We stayed at this condo for the unobstructed ocean view, which was beautiful! You can't get much closer to the water! The space was large enough for our party of 6 adults. We loved being able to walk directly outside onto the grounds which are perfectly manicured. Jim is a very proactive and communicative host. He gave us plenty of good suggestions for our visit to Maui. The property staff were also very friendly when we spoke to them. Thank you for sharing your Maui home with us!

Spectacular Stay in Kihei!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Jim and Audrey’s Maui home. The view when we entered is breathtaking. Being on the first floor is perfect to access all the outdoor activities just a few short steps away. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we found there wasn’t anything that we wished we had or needed. Jim was so easy to communicate with before our trip and even during when we had a couple questions. We will most definitely return!

Good choice for us

Well-equipped condo in central location. Loved being so close to the water, you can sit on the Lanai and watch the turtles swimming while drinking morning coffee (or evening beverage of choice!). One small issue (refrigerator filter needed changed). Notifies owner and it was done same day - very responsive! Would not hesitate staying again.

Trip of a life time !

We stayed at this property in March 2025 for spring break - and let me tell you, the word “paradise” in the description is not accidental. This place was truly fantastic! We travelled with friends, 2 families with kids 4, 6, 8 years old. This condo was perfect size for us all. Important things that we wanted when searching for accommodations was balcony with access to backyard, beach in walking distance and of course - ocean views. This property met all of these requirements. Cherry on top was heated pool and grill ( after long day of exploring it was so nice to enjoy juicy steak or fish that we picked at a local market). Condo also has multiple sand toys, chairs, umbrellas etc - much needed in Maui as you are def going to explore many beaches. Location is fantastic as well - close to many shops, grocery stores, fruit stands and many cool beaches. Communication with the owner was easy as well- Jim was very responsive, answered all our questions and provided many recommendations. Can’t recommend this property enough, and when we go back to Maui we’ll definitely stay here again!

AMAZING property!

This condo is simply AMAZING! It is spacious for larger groups with terrific views. Great views from two of the bedrooms as well as the great room and kitchen. It is so peaceful to hear the ocean as you enjoy the space. The lanai opens up to the lawn, so it feels like you have this huge dedicated outdoor space as well. There is a rock wall that is short enough to not block the view, but high enough if you have a toddler to help keep away from danger. There is also a nice, protected swimming area in the ocean. The condo is close to the grocery store and the onsite restaurant is very good for a convenient meal. The managers are also very friendly and easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about this property. I would love to give it a bad review so there are more openings when we want to go back but it is too beautiful not to share. Don't hesitate - book this one - you won't regret it!

Location, location!

This three bedroom unit was perfect for our family! Jim was super easy to work with, provided a lot of details about the condo and the surrounding area, and was very responsive to all our questions. The oceanfront view was amazing. The location, next to the fish pond, with so many turtles to see and the shallow swimming area was perfect for little ones. Our 4 year old granddaughter loved the humpback whale center and learned how to snorkel. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed, as well as beach toys and baby equipment (playpens, strollers, high chair) as an added bonus. I would highly recommend this unit for a relaxing family vacation.

Perfect.

We had a perfect stay. Location, check in, cleanliness were all great. Windows and shades need a bit of dusting- but not serious. The home has everything you need! Everything (home, sofas, blinds, building) is a bit older than it looks in the pictures- can be updated (we would still return as is!). Cindy the property manager was very helpful. We had wifi problems and she (and Jim) were super responsive and sorted everything out super quick (new router!). We’ll be back!

The Vacation of a Lifetime!

The Speth's Hawaiian home on Maui doesn't disappoint. The first week of our 40 year-in-the-making Hawaiian vacation was everything we wanted and more. There was plenty of room for our six adults to spread out and never be on top of one another. We spents hours every day on the lanai enjoying the spectacular views. We could certainly tell the Speths actually use their home, as it was not missing anything our family needed all week. Jim's emails were packed full of info that was greatly appreciated. Thank you Jim and Aubrey for being such spectacular hosts.

Maui Condo Perfect for Families

Our stay at the Speth’s condo was better than we imagined. When we arrived everything was extremely clean & parking was right outside the front door of the unit! The condo had plenty of beach toys, chairs & umbrellas. We were pleasantly surprised to at how easy it was to let our kids play right outside the patio on the grass & the water was so shallow out front that it was even safe for them to snorkel or play on the sand while we watched from above. The turtles shocked us everyday! We couldn’t believe how many were out front daily. Jim is a quick communicator & friendly to work with. We plan on coming back again this coming year!

Family and friends week of easy fun

I have rented this same unit multiple times. Jim is easy to work with and corresponds quickly to even my repeated questions. The location is great. The mornings in the fish pond drinking coffee and seeing turtles and a sunrise is only beat by gathering for the awesome sunsets right out front. We grill most nights and the grassy area is great for friends and family to enjoy the evening. The bigger kids can go over to the beach if they want a little space and it is all right there. The unit is easy and clean and everything is very comfortable. I think the mattresses are new this year as well. They are perfectly firm. We will be back again and again.

A Maui Gem

The condo was a great place for us to stay, especially because we had 3 littles who enjoyed the beautiful lawn right out of our Lanai, as well as morning walks along the shore to visit the turtles. The view from the Lanai and entire front room and kitchen are just breathtaking! Everything that we needed for our stay was there at the condo from kitchen items to sand toys and beach chairs, beach umbrellas etc. The entire process of renting the condo was a breeze. Any questions that we had about the condo were answered promptly. In addition, the condo is situated in an area where you can get to anywhere on the island. You can visit Lahaina, the Lavender Farm, Iao valley and be there in a short time. I highly recommend this condo to anyone who wishes to experience an enjoyable and relaxing stay in Maui. Mahalo!
