A Perfect Fit
The Treehouse suited my wife and me perfectly. I think it would be a challenge to fine a place that is more peaceful and tranquil, as far as a vacation rental in Kihei. It is also a nice place to view the sunsets.

Best place ever!
I’ve stayed in Kihei about two dozen times, and often in some of the better condos (like Maui Kamaole.) This was better than anywhere else, but don’t tell anyone—it’s simply too pleasant, and would become too popular for our return.

Wonderful place. It was beautiful, clean, quiet and had everything we needed to feel at home. It was so nice to have the deck to sit and have our morning coffee on. Kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. Bed was super comfy and the bathroom had a great shower. It was nice to have laundry right there if we needed it. You also have beach chairs/ umbrella and boogie boards to use if you like. Communication was great and Pam was there to answer any questions and gave us some great recommendations. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. Thanks for everything Pam!

Perfect Spot
We did not rent a vehicle in Maui - just walked, bus, and a couple of Uber rides. This location was so convenient to all we needed. Pam is very hospitable and helpful. The deck is my favorite place in Kihei!

Lovely stay!

Wonderful quiet home!

The perfect place to stay
I have so many wonderful things to say about this cottage and Pam, the most gracious host ever!!! The pictures don’t do this place justice….it’s so cute and the perfect size for a couple. Perfect location- walking distance to the beach, shops, grocery. Pam is so nice and caring - she even shared some herbs and produce from her organic garden with us. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful and Relaxing Stay!
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the treehouse cottage while visiting Maui for our anniversary and my birthday. Everything was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We felt very much at home here. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance, as well as groceries, and a local beach park where we saw a couple of beautiful sunsets. The bed was super comfortable, shower was heavenly, and the kitchen stocked with all we needed to make a few meals. Pam and Juan were perfect hosts, making us feel welcome but also respecting our privacy. We would love to return someday! Mahalo for making our short stay here so wonderful!

Well-equipped apartment with lovely views
This place is perfect for a couple. You're close to shops, restaurants, and beaches yet in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is large enough for actual cooking, Pam and Juan provide a cooler and beach towels which is very convenient for travelers, and there are great views in all directions (including from the shower!). With so many windows and the ceiling fans, we found it quite comfortable without turning on the AC unit. My only complaint is that the single upholstered chair in the living room is too small for 2 people to sit on together unless you want to be touching each other (not when it's warm, thank you very much!), so that's not ideal if you like to watch TV, but there's one in the bedroom too. Having this convenient place to return to each day made our Maui trip much more pleasant!

This Treehouse Rocks!
We thought the property was wonderful! It is a quality construction, very comfortable, and provides everything we needed during our stay that week. A private neighborhood, yet easily accessible to stores and shopping. Pam was very helpful and responsive to any questions or needs that we had. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone asking!

Beautiful Treehouse
We enjoyed our stay here. The treehouse is so nicely appointed with everything you need: dishes, spices, ice packs, cooler, tupperware, etc. The place was clean and so nice! Unfortunately we came when it was ant season, and we had quite the group of flying ants in the room one night. However, as soon as I notified Pamela, she immediately responded by personally removing all of the ants and spraying the unit with ant spray. We didn't have any more problems after that! I really appreciated Pamela's welcoming attitude and responsiveness.

I can't say enough about this stay at the Maui Treehouse! It was such a great experience! Pam had touched base with us prior to our arrival and the apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Juan and Pam even went above and beyond with providing extras like boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs and towels, bikes, and a cooler. Pam gave us excellent recommendations of areas to visit while on Maui. Both Juan and Pam were friendly hosts who enjoyed sharing their knowledge about the island. We would stay here again and we highly recommend the Treehouse.

Beautiful and awesome
The place is beautiful. Surrounded by trees, views are amazing in all directions, volcano, palm trees, ocean and the sounds of the birds made my stay of 6 weeks a calming and delightful experience. The owners are super friendly and Pam shared vegetables from her organic garden and was always open for a little chat. Indoors there is everything you need. I highly recommend this place if you like to be away from the busy tourist spots and don’t mind a short walk to the ocean.

Excellent Place To Stay!
The treehouse was amazing! A peaceful spot with lots of plants and lovely bird songs. It was a short 5 minute walk to the downtown area and beach. Pam was super helpful and knowledgeable about local spots as well. I would definitely come stay here again!

Very relaxing, rejuvenating stay!
I stayed here for a week and it was just amazing! It literally has the look and feel of a treehouse. The window in the bedroom looks out over Mt. Haleakala and you can see dawn breaking through in the morning and the sound of birds. Pamela and Juan are very accommodating hosts. Everything you need is there - towels, coolers, chairs, a blender that actually works, a grill, amazing tasting coffee. The property is clean and well-maintained, and the hosts let you have your space so you can just enjoy your vacation.

Quaint and homey treehouse
Our stay at Pamela and Juan’s treehouse was great. Very clean and pleasant accommodations , they were a pleasure to talk with and were definitely concerned that we had a great vacation. They have extra amenities to make your stay even more comfortable and easier to adventure out. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Getaway in Paradise!
The monkeypod 'treehouse' is the perfect get-away! It is tucked away from the busier tourist scene but still close enough to all the Kihei shops and beaches. My favorite thing was the ocean view and just sitting outside on the lanai to relax and there's even a partial ocean view and beautiful tropical views from inside the large living room and kitchen windows. You really feel like you are in another world and it is very quiet and peaceful. Enough good can't be said about this place and the kindness of the hostess and her husband really help you feel right at home. They have really created something special and I'm so happy I was able to stay there!

A top-of-the-line vacation rental, suitable for a couple or single person. The cleanest, most well put-together, and most welcoming of any vacation rental at which I have ever stayed. Our visit to Maui was greatly enhanced due to staying at this cottage, which does feel like a treehouse. From the beautiful attention of detail in the interior design and furnishings, to the welcoming hosts, who toured their garden and shared their garden herbs, to the convenient central"ish" Maui location, we will definitely be looking for the availability of this cottage when booking our next trip to this island. A nice touch, the owners provided coffee and tea. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The owner was easy to get a hold of for any assistance, and a pleasure to know. We loved Maui and we loved this Kihei "treehouse." Aloha nui loa.

Convenient yet felt secluded
Charming tree house unit stocked with every amenity. Very convenient to restaurants, stores and all the places we wanted to visit but in a quiet neighborhood. It was lovely to hear the birds chirping.

What a Wonderful Place!
My husband and I vacationed here on our honeymoon. We had such a wonderful time exploring the city, the beaches, and enjoying our down time back at the house. Pam and her husband were wonderful hosts - we were so blessed by their hospitality and generosity! We got much more out of this stay that we had expected... All we were looking for was a nice place to stay, but we got so much more than that! We could see and feel the sincerity in Pam and her husband, they made themselves so available to any needs that we had, they opened their garden to us, and Pam even took the time to sit down and have wonderful conversation with us as well. Our privacy on the trip was 100% respected - we never felt barged in on. It is such a romantic little cottage, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone! If we find ourselves back in Maui, Hawaii, we will definitely be booking here again!

Very nice!
Rented the Treehouse unit for my mom. She was very pleased with the stay ("I ate breakfast on the lanai overlooking the distant ocean. I looked out the bedroom window and saw Haleakala!") and would happily stay again. Plenty of room for 1-2 people, with nice touches like a washer/dryer unit en suite.

We loved our stay at the treehouse! It was just my fiancé and I and we stayed for a week. We walked down to the Kihei night life and beach. Also the place is only minutes away from the the Kamaole Beach parks with have great snorkeling. We highly recommend!

Quiet retreat
We really enjoyed our stay at the Kihei treehouse. It was clean, the bathroom and kitchen were well stocked, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. There’s large windows that allow for lovely breezes and hearing the birds in the mornings. The house is on a corner lot, but the neighborhood is quiet. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the water to watch the sunset and there’s a nice paved path by the water for strolls. It’s also close to many restaurants, shopping, etc.
