Welcome to your cosy and modernly furnished holiday rental in Kiefersfelden, in the quiet area of Kohlstatt. This spacious semi-detached home is located in a pleasant residential area and offers plenty of room to relax—ideal for families, couples, nature lovers, and even guests with dogs.
Our lovingly furnished holiday rental combines cosy cabin charm with modern amenities and many little extras for families, couples, and those who appreciate the finer things in life.

The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday: dishes and silverware for at least 6 people, pots, pans, baking dishes, a food processor, a pasta machine, a toaster, a dishwasher, as well as a capsule coffee machine and an espresso maker. Cleaning supplies are, of course, also provided. The cosy dining area, designed in the style of an Alpine cabin, is perfect for leisurely breakfasts, evenings spent cooking together, and fun game nights. You’ll find a selection of board games in the cabinets—feel free to use them.

Upstairs is the modern bathroom with two sinks and a spacious, open shower (140 × 100 cm). A washing machine and dryer are available for your use free of charge, as is a drying rack for delicate clothing.

The bright and particularly wide hallway on the upper floor is perfect for a short yoga or relaxation session. Families will appreciate practical touches such as the children’s coat rack and a chest of drawers stocked with various bath items for kids.

The bedroom is furnished with high-quality Swiss stone pine furniture, which creates a particularly relaxing and cosy atmosphere with its pleasant scent. Ample storage space ensures that even longer stays remain comfortable.

The children’s room is a real highlight for young guests: The stylish teepee bed (90 × 200 cm) invites children to dream; extra bedding and a second mattress (90 × 200) are stored underneath the teepee bed and can be pulled out as needed. A baby cot is also available as an option, so even the littlest ones can rest comfortably. Additionally, there’s a changing table with a nappy pail, cosy reading nooks, and even a guitar for a musical bedtime ritual. The guest room features a pull-out double bed with a sleeping surface of 160 × 200 cm, as well as plenty of storage space for clothes. The living room, which is about 30 m², offers plenty of space to relax and play. The large sofa bed can be easily pulled out to accommodate two adults. Kids love the swing, which can be unhooked if needed, as well as the small slide on the windowsill. A 55-inch smart TV, a piano, and various musical instruments—which guests are welcome to try out—ensure cosy family evenings. Cosy teepee nooks and comfortable armchairs create a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Four-legged guests are also welcome—there’s even a dog bed provided. A large collection of board games is available for fun game nights.
The location of our accommodation is ideal for anyone who loves nature, outdoor activities, and true relaxation in the Alpine foothills. All around the house, you’ll find numerous attractions, hiking trails, and recreational opportunities—many of which are easily accessible on foot or by bike.
The idyllic Kieferbach stream flows just about 100 metres away. Dog owners in particular will appreciate the nearby, approximately 2-kilometer-long off-leash area along the water.
The picturesque Hechtsee, with its stunning view of the Wilder Kaiser, is about a 15-minute walk away. From there, the popular 4-Lakes Loop begins, passing Hechtsee, Egelsee, Längsee, and Pfrillsee—perfect for walking, jogging, or simply enjoying the scenery.
A real highlight is the nearby Nusslberg, where a small chapel offers an impressive panoramic view of the Kaiser Mountains. Right next to it stands a large old tree with a long swing—a special favourite spot for children and adults alike.
The house is a real home: I live here myself—together with my son and my dog—when I’m not making it available to guests.
When travelling, I’ve often found holiday rentals to be somewhat sterile and impersonal. That’s why I came up with the idea of creating a place where families can truly feel at home from the very first moment—cosy, warm, and equipped with everything that makes everyday life with children enjoyable.
That’s exactly the feeling I want to share with my guests: arrive, take a deep breath, and enjoy your time in the Bavarian Foothills. The family-friendly decor, the many little details, and the relaxed atmosphere make the house a special retreat for young and old alike.
