Located in the popular Turtle Cove neighborhood in the desirable East Beach area of Kiawah it features panoramic views of a tranquil Island lagoon and a light, open and airy floor plan with tranquil, coastal colors. Completely renovated by custom homebuilder Harper Construction in 2018. The pristine villa at 5530 Green Dolphin Way comes with a myriad of modern extras. It enjoys oak hardwood flooring finished in place throughout the villa with only the exception of pale ceramic tile in the baths. Step through the door into the foyer, and you’ll see the open kitchen to your left. Light and bright with pale gray cabinetry, sleek nickel cabinet pulls, white quartz countertops, and a custom backsplash, it features a center island with a breakfast bar with extra seating for three. The stainless-steel Blomberg® appliances are all new, including the side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker. To one side is a sunlit breakfast nook with a row of nearly floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the pond views and a glass door to the screened porch, with its own panoramic water views and an outdoor dining set seating four. To another side is the living room with vaulted ceiling, sofa bed offering extra sleeping space, and new glass doors opening to the screened porch. The master bedroom is filled with natural light from a bow window wall, and the bath is spa-like with a wide, beautifully marbled frameless-glass shower and a clean-lined white vanity with its sink set into a white quartz countertop. No pets and no smoking. When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights (not available in low season, late Oct to mid Mar) you will receive a valuable credit of up to $200 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required. We played golf and ate at Turtle Point and Cougar Point, unfortunately as we were not booked through the Kiawah Resort, discounts were not applicable (15%) on already expensive charges. Our apartment overlooked one of the ponds and we enjoyed watching the varied wildlife including alligators! Apartment was modern and well appointed. Would have been helpful for a map of the resort to be in the apartment - we got one when hiring bikes. ##### James P. Looks like the photos. Nice bed, pleasant decor, porch overlooking a pond. Easy access to whatever we needed on Kiawah. It is smallish but still roomy enough for two people to be comfortable and we stayed for 2 weeks. The closet/drawer space was sufficient and there was plenty of room for storage in the bathroom. Potential renters who do a lot of cooking should be aware that the kitchen is minimally stocked and more 'basic' compared to many kitchens we've seen in Kiawah rentals...e.g., just a few and mismatched wine glasses, no spatula or spaghetti fork or workable ice cream scoop, tiny colander, etc. There was also limited space to store non-refrigerated food. Of course, if you don't cook much, no problem! (And easy to fix in any regard.) ##### Sharon S.
