It features a private one car garage equipped with a EV charger and private laundry. The deck offers beautiful treed views with mountains in the distance. With the resort shuttle picking up nearby you’re just minutes from the gondola, shopping, restaurants and festivities. Ski Tip offers shared amenities including an oversized, centrally located hot tub. Guests of Ski Tip also have access to the Dakota Lodge pool and hot tub. The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features an entire wall of windows allowing lots of natural light and vaulted ceilings lend to the overall spaciousness. There is a large mounted Smart TV, a gas fireplace, and cozy furnishings. The couch has a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping arrangements. Just off the living area is access to the deck with beautiful views. The deck opens up onto green-space, perfect for outside play and building snowmen. The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and has stainless steel appliances. The dining area seats six with three additional seats at the breakfast bar. On the main level is a half bath with a pedestal sink and toilet. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. Near the half bath is the private laundry and detergent is provided for your convenience. Both bedrooms are upstairs. The spacious primary suite features a king-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination with jets. The guest bedroom features a twin-over-queen bunk bed on our Ivory White Bedding program and a flat screen TV. The home was clean, with nice appliances and a great view out of the living room. It's not very big, but certainly suitable for a family of five, and there is plenty of space for gear near the entry. We had a few issues, nothing major, such as a drain in the bath that was backing up, and they fixed it immediately. They were very responsive and helpful, which you don't always get with VRBO's. Tub looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed, but clean towels and sheets. Very hot inside without AC, but windows can be opened for air flow.Perfect location to Ketstone resort and to hiking spots. Stayed 2 nights in Sep 2023 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Bryan C. 25 Sept 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, location Disliked: Check-in, communication #### WARNING - PREPARE TO SLEEP IN YOUR CAR 1ST NIGHT We were flying from Florida and after 2 flights and a car ride we made it around 2 am letting them know ahead of time of our eta. They sent us a code for the key that didn't work, we called the one number was available and sent text messages. We had to sleep inside our rental car. Four people in a compact car so you can imagine. Around 7:30 am we called them again because the online page says that they open at 8 am. Gorge called us back and sent a maintenance lady to open the door finally. The house is good and they have everything you need but they sent us the wrong code and wrong directions to get in. We were sent an additional code to ensure we could enter and exit the rental for the rest of our stay. They do not understand that they sent the wrong code to enter. Be aware if you are checking in the instructions are vague and do not include any of the information you'll need to get into the rental. MAKE sure you get multiple codes to enter or you will be locked out. Also, when you contact management and the office they will blame you for not calling the after hours emergency phone number that isnt listed in order to avoid responsibilty and will not refund you for your missing night. VERY VERY poor communication and lack of customer service is embarrasing. They will blame you and everyone else for their mistakes. Good luck. ##### Bryan C. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property was disappointing. I expected better.A brief rundown of the positives and negatives.The positives: There is more than enough room and the fireplace is really nice. Each upstairs bathroom has a en suite, and the half bath downstairs is an awesome extra for families. If you have a small enough car (i.e sedan or smaller), you can actually use the garage too. The negatives: There is a camera at the front door. If it was ever disclosed, I missed it. But I significantly dislike staying at properties that feel the need to monitor your coming and goings. If I had known that ahead of time, I wouldn’t have stayed here. It’s creepy and unsettling. They don’t take cleaning seriously. Toenails and kids toys under the bed, sunflower seeds in and under couch, dishes that hadn’t been washed (but we’re just put away dirty), clothes covered in dust on the floor behind furniture, etc. It seemed as though there was an “ick” factor every time we turned. The furniture is cheap, too. The table and couch are decent, but the living room chairs are unusable and the guest bedroom mattresses were pretty bad. The coffee pot is \*the\* worst. If you do stay here and want coffee, bring your own!!Location is by a bus stop and the community dumpster.A additional note on customer service:I was a little irked that they wanted photos for proof of what was dirty. When I initially notified them, I assumed the immediate response would be “let’s fix that right away”, not “send me pictures”. They did eventually offer to send a cleaning crew, but it was too little too late. We went and bought our own cleaning stuff.All in all, we won’t be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend it.
