Loved the privacy and we love coming to South Dakota during off season!It snowed one day and there were tons of deer, everywhere, every day. It was definitely cool to see them.While we weren't super fond of doing dishes by hand every day, we were aware of this during booking.The negatives we didn't know about were; the tv in the bedroom doesn't work. There are knobs missing on a lot of kitchen cabinets and there is no working ice maker. Lastly, I can confirm that there is a bible, religious magazines/books on the coffee table and side tables. This is the first property that we have rented that did not have any kind of shampoo, soap or anything in small sample bottles of anything in case you forgot something at home. We couldn't have asked for more. The house is very clean, comfortable and a great centralized location to explore the Black Hills. The 1880 Train ran along the tracks across the street from the house (no it was not annoying and didn't run at night); and the house came with a babbling brook, deer, wild turkey and a foosball table 😊 What more could you ask for. The only negative was that we were only provided one key.
