"Our 4 night stay was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was OK, usually eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, bagels, English muffins, cold cereals, waffles, etc. The hotel is within a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to several restaurants, shopping and the 1880 train depot. Very safe walk, very well lit. Mt Rushmore was less than a 10 minute drive. The Comfort Inn was the perfect location for exploring several of the attractions in the area. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The 5 stars is for the front desk lady in the morning. She's warm and welcoming. I hesitated about the tunnels at Needles Highway but with her warm assurance, I drove one of the memorable drives in Custer State Park. Needles Eye wasn't as narrow as I thought. The motel and the room were dated. I personally don't like beds with those old school coverings. That said, I would stay there again. The motel is in a very convenient location; virtually at the foot of Mount Rushmore. Restaurants are within walking distance but shops close early including the gas station store next door."

"The overall stay was great, the pool was perfect. The rooms were clean, thr staff were helpful w my questions. My only complaint is the room was muggy, very humid, and we didnt have a poolside room which was why i thought rooms are humid. But not in this case. But again a great stay, this was our first time at the hotel. "

"We stayed in the cabins, they are much nicer inside than they appear from outside. Appropriate for a National Park area, main hotel is nice, and has a little beach to relax on a giant lake."
