There is a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker and microwave. Enjoy the sun-filled private balcony with a hammock, extra seating & space to relax. Guest Access: Our contactless check-in procedure makes check-in easy. Guests will receive a personalized access code prior to check-in to enter the unit. Shared features: The brick driveway is a shared walkway for all 3 units in the compound. There is also a communal washer/dryer in the driveway area along with the trash/recycle bins. How to Access: Second floor studio with stair access only. The Neighborhood: Located on Whitehead St which is 1 block from world famous Duval St, "Traveler's Palm" is walking distance to nearly everything you will want to experience during your escape to Key West. Walk to popular spots like The Southernmost Point, Key West Lighthouse, Blue Heaven, Firefly, Green Parrot and the Earnest Hemingway Home which are all just right down the street. Want to hit the beach? Head down to Ft Zach State Park & Beach and enjoy the crystal clear waters and beautiful quiet beaches for a small admission fee. Getting Around: Parking Information: There is no on-site parking for this unit. For overnight parking, here are some parking lot options: • 204 Simonton Street • Caroline Street Outdoor Parking Lot • Park N Ride Old Town Garage Street parking information: • There are pay-to-park spots and meters - it is free from 12am - 8pm. There is a 3 day limit. • The neighborhoods of Old Town offer some free parking spaces, but be aware that many of the spots are marked “Residential Only” and visitors are NOT permitted to park in them. There are a variety of great ways to explore Key West including by bicycle, pedi-cab, moke, scooter, golf cart, Uber, Taxi, or by feet. The location was wonderful and the apartment was nice and clean. My only complaints are the ceiling fans didn’t work, the lock in the front gate was a little wonky, and out of the 3 parking garages recommended, only one actually accepted 24 hour parking that you didn’t have to go back and update payment in the morning. We take a taxi from the airport, drop our luggage off, then walk 2 blocks down to pickup our bikes for our entire stay because parking a vehicle is hard to come by on the island. The place was great for just me and my husband but it could fit two more people comfortably. The only small cons is there’s a beautiful large fruit tree over the deck that roosters live in which is awesome to watch…until you realize they crow literally all night and early morning. The deck is sketchy as well as the floor as soon as you walk in the door. They both seem to be caving in as you walk on it and we’re small people. The view across the street looks like housing projects for locals but you’re in paradise and don’t spend a lot of time looking over the deck anyway. ##### Amanda M. We had no idea how close we were to everything. This place is perfect if you want to be near Duval St. It is one block from where everything is happening but not too close to hear all the commotion when it’s time to wind down. It is clean and tidy with a private balcony. Nobody knows your up there and you have a birds eye view of the street. There are sooo many restaurants, bars, shops, all within a short walk. Even the parking is less than a block away (@$50 a day). We plan to come back and hope this place is available. Oh, one more thing, bring some noise canceling headphones or some ear plugs if your a light sleeper. The roosters start up at around 1:30am and they like to crow right outside your window and everywhere on the island. Have fun! ##### Dave E. Its a 1 room attic studio in a Key West historic cottage, and shares the property with two other units. You're just a block off of Duval St, but don't worry about the noise, there's a noise ordinance after 10pm and we had no problem falling asleep. The wild roosters, on the other hand will wake you up at the crack of dawn. There's no parking available on site, but there's 2 metered lots very close, and you're just a few blocks away from the Duval Loop bus stop which will take you within walking distance of all the tourist spots. Or bicycle & gulf cart rentals are available on the island too. There seemed to be a communication breakdown before our arrival, as I had some questions that went unanswered for several days until I finally called and spoke to someone. But once that was cleared up communication was good and they were quick to resolve an issue we had with the outdoor lighting. Over all we had a good time. ##### Brenda H.
