When you do not need the entire compound but still want to enjoy this magnificent property in the heart of Old Town Key West, you can rent "Stars", the first floor condo of the "Stars & Stripes" compound. \*\*\*PRIMARY GUEST MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE INSIDE AND SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS... This home offers four bedrooms, a living room with indoor dining for four, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen and a tiled bath with clawfoot tub and walk-in glass shower. The first bedroom has a comfortable king bedroom with armoire, flat screen TV and is right next to the bathroom. The second bedroom is just across the hall is the twin room with armoire and flat screen (twins convert to a king). The third bedroom has an adjoining door from the twin bedroom with a queen bed. And the fourth bedroom is a private suite that may be adjoined to the third bedroom, or from the outside if you prefer more privacy. The suite is like having your own unit; perfect for a couple or a family with kids. There is a full bath with shower/tub combo, wet bar with mini fridge and microwave in between the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. There is also a sofa sleeper in the living room for additional guests. OUTDOOR LIVING... If you walk out the kitchen’s beautiful French doors to the deck there is a four-top outdoor dining table. The compound has a heated pool that is shared by the other condo on the premises (Stripes; levels 2 & 3). All guests have access to the laundry area, grill and grounds. PARKING... One parking space is available that is first-come-first-serve with the unit above. You can find non-residential parking spaces in the surrounding area, or there is also The Old Town Garage a few blocks away. But this home is in an ideal location, and you don't need a car as you can walk or bike to almost anywhere you will want. If you need a ride, Ubers and Lyfts are readily available. The grocery is just a couple of blocks away, and you can also have groceries delivered or the fridge stocked by our concierge prior to arrival! DISTANCES TO BEACHES... It was super-clean and so well-equipped. My sister-in-law was excited about the ice-maker and the cocktail shaker in particular. It's in a great part of the Old Town -- a quieter part but just a step to everything on Duval and beyond. LOVED the fact we could watch college football on the big TV as well. The check-in was so easy and great communication from the hosts. A bonus was the parking spot, OK it was shared with the upstairs property, but still that's rare and good. The pool looked fun and a really nice outdoor space to a picnic/BBQ and TWO washers and dryers. Would highly recommend. Far exceeded my (rather picky) expectations :) If you want to experience the best of Key West, this is a great choice. ##### Sarah O. Reviewer Comments: The unit was beautiful and well stocked. It actually seemed bigger than it looked in the pictures. You need to travel through a bedroom to get to the back two bedrooms. The back two bedrooms have outside access so you can get to the kitchen by going outside without having to go through the connecting bedroom. We were only two couples, so not an issue for us but might have been of we brough more people. Excellent location. We never need to use our car. The wood floors in the kitchen could have been a bit cleaner and the place needs a rug next to the door leading out to the pool to protect the wood floor. Very close to shops and restaurants. We didn't need to use our car. Very convenient to have washers and dryers on site. My favorite part was the private pool.
