We go down approximately every other year, and have stayed in a number of hotels and guest houses. This was absolutely the best, and we will be hard-pressed to stay anywhere else in the future. Our room? Freshly renovated, 1st floor, 50 feet from their wonderful restaurant, 25 feet from the very refreshing pool. Clean and quiet, with 2 nice chairs right outside our door in a little alcove. The location? Right on Duval Street, near the southern end. Close enough to the action but still quiet and peaceful. Lots of nice restaurants an easy stroll away. The amenities? Beside the pool, an excellent restaurant and a couple of bars. At night there was great live music in the cocktail lounge for an evening nightcap before retiring. There was a complimentary breakfast in the outdoor restaurant each morning. The service was friendly and the food was superb. Downsides? Parking is always a problem in Key West, but we left our car at the golf cart rental place, and managed to find parking for our golf cart close by every day and evening.
