Excellent location! The pool was nice and warm and cleaned daily - kitchen is nicely updated. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use some updates but all worked fine! The bedroom walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so you can hear the noise in other rooms but not a deal breaker!

Quick stop on our spring break

Found this property and were excited with location! If you want to be in the heart of things-this was great! Parking was a plus. Pool entertained kids. Read listing as you are CLOSE to things-the music and fun from Duval added to our enjoyment!

The location was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The house was well stocked with a huge back yard. The A/C units kept the outside noise out. The pool was warm but the bottom was rough on your feet. We had 6 people and it was pretty tight but we really only slept there.

Only a few things that i would change. Living room needs blinds bc people walking by can see in and the larger bedroom needs a mirror. Pool was nice. More lighting in back for night time swimming would be helpful. Nice size for two couples

This home has a great location to Duval. You will be at the halfway point and easily walkable to many great places to eat, shop, or hang out at. The pool is beautiful … but shaded majority of the day (December). The music next door could be heard faintly inside but easily drowned out by the a/c units or sound machines/app. Definitely a great spot for small groups looking to be in the hustle of Key West!

Location is perfect! Book a reservation next door at The Red Shoe Bistro! You won't be disappointed. The pool is the highlight of the property. Music next door at the bar is loud, but honestly not bad at all and was nice to have music at the pool. We could still hold conversations without any noise issue and inside the house you can't hear it at all. House is in the heart of the rainbow district of Duval and it is perfect for those who like to go walk Duval and have fun. Super close to Hemmingway House and tons of great restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend staying here!

Great location

We came to celebrate our 40th anniversary and wanted to be close to Duvall. The pool was awesome. Pool guys came by everyday to sweep the pool deck and check the water. The music from the bar behind was good to listen to at night while in the pool. We really couldn't hear it in the house. But if you're looking for privacy from your group, this would not work. We could hear every sound from the other bedroom as the wall does NOT go all the way up. But we definitely would stay here again if got the chance.

The home was clean and comfortable. The photos were spot on accurate. The house was comfortable with the A/C, the pool cleaned daily, and the pet rooster and chicken in the back yard. Perfect location for walking to the Hemingway home, food, music, and other attractions. The music nearby was enjoyable while poolside, but we heard nothing indoors. Though we did not rent a car (really, no car needed), there seemed ample space for parking inside the gate. I am 73 and had not problem walking to Duval Street, the Southern-most point, or to Sloppy Joe's. But the Trolly Tours was very good as a hop on, hop off, on the warmer days. Having the washer/dryer saves bringing extra clothes. Fifteen to twenty minutes from the airport via Lyft or Uber. We would not hesitate to rent this cottage again.

The location and the heated pool are great! The kitchen is also updated which a hug plus along with a small space for private parking. Keep in mind that there is an open air shared ceiling between the two bedrooms so you’ll hear everything and there is a small shared bathroom. Pack your ear plugs and eye shields if you plan to sleep in late due to a skylight over the bed and no room darkening shades/curtains. There is no coverage over the glass entry door so pedestrians will be able to see the couch and small portion of living room at night. There is a nearby bar that will play club music during the day and into about 2am. We rented a golf cart which made for quick transport down to the action near Sloppy Joes and it was nice to have to have the private parking at the home. Overall, a great home in a great location with an awesome backyard with heated pool and lush tropical vegetation. Stay here!
