Check-in was horrible. They didnt have two double bed room available which is what I paid for. And the staff was incredibly rude when we checked in. The hotel is outdated, not enough beach chairs and had to wait in line every morning for a simple black cup of coffee. They said it was because of covid that they didnt have self serve grab and go coffee bar yet you had self serve cream/milk. I will never stay at the Casa again because the horrible check in and rude staff that was compounded by the lack of amenities.

The hotel property is nice. It definitely has one of the better views on the island. It does have that relaxing resort feel. The location is perfect if you're looking for something that feels a little more remote. You do see and hear air traffic, but the noise isn't overwhelming or distracting. It isn't located within quick walking distance to many other places. That can be a good or bad thing depending on what you're after. The amenities are as advertised. The concierge service was great at suggesting and scheduling things to do. The food is very good, and there are a variety of higher end and every day menu options that should please just about everyone. The food was very good, but it does seem a little overpriced. Given the out-of-the-way setting, it feels like they are gouging you on food since there are only a few other options easily accessible (meaning not without walking 6-8 blocks minimum, or taking a taxi). The property is old, and pretty well maintained. The one area that could definitely be improved is attention to detail in cleanliness. Frequently, trash bins were overflowing. Sometimes, the smell of the trash at the bar was noticeable while sitting at it. Often, drink spills or food crumbs on lounges, tables, or walkways were not cleaned promptly. These things weren't outrageously bad, but could be much better.
