The small village of Great Addington sits in the Nene Valley in Northamptonshire between the market towns of Kettering, Thrapston and Wellingborough which offers a range of shopping facilities. It boasts a village pub and has beautiful walks through the countryside on its doorstep. Stanwick Lakes which is just 5 miles away can be enjoyed by all the family with play parks, walks, cycle paths and other activities. For a little retail therapy, Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre boasts many high street and high end shops and restaurants, leisure facilities including cinema, crazy golf, climbing walls and you can even hire canoes approximately 5 miles away. Fun for all the family can be found at Wicksteed Park, just over 6 miles away, which is a charming family theme park dating back to the 1920s.
