Overall accommodation standards are high. The house is nicely furnished, beds are comfortable , and there is a well equipped kitchen. Our teenagers loved the equipment in Fitz Park. Found on-street parking for second car, very easy. Reasonably well equipped but short of the loving care needed to address things that were not working. The owner needs to stay there and realise how irritating little shortcomings can be. The twin room was very dusty and had to be cleaned before use. We had the most wonderful week staying in Acorn Lodge Cottage. It is situated in the perfect location, less than 5 minute walk into the centre of Keswick and about a 10 minute walk from Derwent Water. Conveniently there is off road parking too. The cottage itself is just delightful. So well equipped, spacious and having a sink in every bathroom is a definite bonus.
