We thought the cottage was in a great location, though parking was slightly restrictive and the two flights of stairs after a walk were off putting. The interior had been modernised nicely and the apartment was very well equipped. The kitchen was quite narrow and that was noticeable if two people were cooking there together. The bed was king size as advertised (some are not in our experience) and comfortable, the prime requirement for a relaxing holiday. The bathroom was okay and the shower nice. There was no external noises so it was peaceful. Overall it was a nice apartment though we'd have preferred somewhere with a nice view which it doesn't have. Note that one of the photos of the external view on the web site isn't from this apartment.Concern is made however at the electric oven which didn't seem to get anywhere near the indicated temperature. We cooked a pizza early on and it took twice as long to cook as the package said, and other things cooked afterwards had to have carefully monitored extended cooking times before serving. It definitely needs to be checked and repaired or replaced if necessary. Finding the key on arrival wasn't straightforward and other new holiday arrivals had similar challenges for their apartments.The landlords common areas could do with sprucing up as the dark and stained carpets, yellowy walls, along with old warm white CFL 2D lamps made the staircases somewhat gloomy.
