The Hollies is a former gentleman’s residence which has more recently been converted into superb quality apartments. Number 3 is on the 1st floor and has incredible views from most rooms. The Hollies is situated in what is believed to be the oldest part of Keswick and probably the quietest, yet is only a minutes walk from the town centre and its many amenities. It was exactly as described. The rooms were a great size with very good views over Catbells and the surrounding hills. The place was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped. Marketed as a three bed flat, but the third room is an extra charge. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. The temperature knob in the shower seemed to have no bearing on the actual temperature. The bedside lamps were aggressively twee and could do with replacing. Despite that, the flat was clean, towels were included, the feel to the flat was excellent and was great value.
