  • Cypress Flats features a newly remodeled 2300sq ft home with all the amenities to make your vacation one to remember. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, bathroom, and a separate TV, the guest bedroom has a queen sized bed and a walk-in closet, the "sleeping porch" has five twin beds and a TV for playing DVDs, there is a large den and dining room area with another television. There is a separate building with a washer/dryer. There is covered parking in a large carport. Other amenities include a picnic table, inner tubes, and BBQ pit, There are two kayaks and two paddle boards that come with the property. Bring snorkel gear if you have it, the water is gin clear and there are tons of fish!

The house was so cozy and welcoming and plenty of seating and beds for our family of 8. And the outdoor space was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Our host was amazing and responded fast. Rooms were nice and clean and very cozy. Definitely recommend this place!!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time. The children enjoyed swimming in the river. We did some fishing. We saw plenty of wildlife. Very enjoyable trip and would recommend anybody to try this location.

Peaceful easy feeling

That about sums it up ! Very peaceful place to watch hummingbirds, or float in the river. My older married kids enjoyed kayaking and paddling boarding. Did a little fishing and a whole lot a sittin and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Quick trip

Some of the pros of staying are:Kids had a great time. Loved staying near the river where the kids had easy access to kayaking and paddle boards. They also loved having the ability to fish whenever they wanted. The cons were: The inability to have a fire at night in a fire pit, it was chilly at night. We also felt like we were being watched. There is a house that sits right next door and it would be impossible to have any privacy if they had been home or would come outside. We appreciate the fact that they rent it out so we can enjoy it. Not sure if we would ever right there again just because of location to our needs.

We had a wonderful time at Cypress Flats! The home had everything we needed and we didn’t have to bring our own kayaks! I wish we could bottle this little trip up with my family and keep it forever!

I cannot say enough good things about this rental property. We spent the majority of our time on the water enjoying all the fun floats and kayaks available for guest use. Lori was extremely responsive to messages and very accommodating. There is no question that we’ll be back!

The accomidations, the river, and the prompt and full amenties were excellent, top notch.

Our stay here was wonderful. The host/owner has thought of everything and more at this location. We have stayed at other locations for getaway, stress free weekends, but this place was truly that- no hassles. The location is beautiful, the breeze, the birds, the river!!! We are definitely coming again!! Thank you to the Browns for offering this beautiful location to me and my family.

Lovely home, lovely hospitality

The thoughtful details by Lori made what was already a perfect stay even better! River access and outdoor seating is second to none. Our weather was cloudy and cold(ish) but it didn't stop us from fishing and kayacking. We'll be back in the summer time. Thank you to The Browns. It was awesome.
