An airlock in a pipe of a neighbouring room was quite load at 4.30am. Sadly I was too late to access the pool. Great walks on the seafront.

Beds were hard and wobbly. The plumbing was suspect. The drain from the toilet appeared to be a plastic dryer vent hose.

Quite dated personally I found the bed very uncomfortable also the pillows so had hardly got any sleep fair bit of noise from water system through the building

A good hotel by the harbour for a low price which was good. The staff were great and the room had amenities such as iron, hairdryer, coffee and soap etc.. Negatives were that the walls are so thin you can hear every door slam or conversation from other guests rooms. The reception staff did offer to allow me to change rooms for my second night to be fair. Also I didnt find the mattress very comfy so I didn't get the best sleep. The pool is an extra charge of £3 and is quite a small pool and the hotel offers a small gym. Parking is £5 a day and the car park is within the hotel. I didnt eat there so can't comment on the food but they offered a good choice of menu and happy hour on drinks.

The room is nice and now has a fridge which is new to here. The only criticism is that no one comes in the empty the bins or replenish the tea, coffee etc unless you request it the day before. This is an old building and this is shown in the attention to detail to maintenance like door handles bath taps etc. May see silly but taken for granted as better in other hotels. Also the toilet was dirty below the water line.

The burstin is what it is, price gone up since back end of last year, I’ve stayed here a lot and happy at £30 a night, recently stayed and it was £40 a night, for that price it isn’t worth it, much better off paying a little bit more and staying in a proper hotel that is comfortable
