Funky rooms decorated in old furniture with very comfortable beds. A good group of guests. A great location in an extremely crowed city. Near to the park along the river for the views and walking or running. Many good restaurants nearby and easy to get a cab in any direction.
The only thing to be careful of are the wood floors. The wood has been painted and have a waxy effect and the old rugs are worn and lay on thin rubber mats, all of which catch on the rubber soles of sneakers and shoes. It is easy to trip or fall at least once a day. A little dangerous and should be removed. Also, the small wood edge that once held a fire screen by the fireplace is also painted black and invisible until you trip on it.
