Overall property and experience was good. We had requested a room away from the elevator on a higher floor and when we checked in we were given a room right next to the elevator on the 2nd floor. We immediately went downstairs and had this changed, but this could have been avoided if the employee had read the notes and accommodated the request in the first place. The breakfast was ok, less options than I expected compared to other hotels but good enough. The highway noise is LOUD, so don’t book here if that would bother you. The bed was really comfortable, I have to say, and the pillows weren’t so fluffy that it hurts the neck.

Our stay was short- basic room, front desk staff were helpful, quick and efficient. Didn't utilize breakfast but they have a coffee station etc and all looked clean and well stocked.

Check in was very easy. Check out, even easier. All of the staff that we interacted with were very nice and professional. Smallish pool, but clean and did it's job. Very nice hot tub! Nice breakfast, decent coffee. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the heater/AC unit was very loud. We were so tired it didn't metter! But I could see it might be a sore spot for someone.

this hotel would have been highly rated, except that there was a strong smell of gas in the lobby. When reported, the receptionist agreed and said he would report this to his manager. When nothing was done on the second evening, we decided to call the fire department. We were tired, and it was late at night, and we couldn’t face looking for a new hotel, even though we were frightened for our own safety. The evening receptionist also agreed that there was a strong smell of gas. The fire department came and turned off the gas on the lobby Fireplace. The next day I was berated by the hotel manager, which seemed a most inappropriate response to our concerns about our own safety. shame on the manager who, rather than dealing with the issue told us it was not a problem and the gas levels were at an acceptable level. Is it ever acceptable for a hotel to have a strong smell of gas in the lobby?

The room door was hard to open. We could hear the tv in the room next to us and people in the hallway very clearly. No oatmeal for breakfast, but otherwise and overall a nice place to stay.
