  • Riverside Snug is perfectly located in the heart of Kenmare, just steps from the town centre. This warm, welcoming and stylish home is ideal for golfers, friends or families, with three bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to six guests. A wonderful private home from which to enjoy everything Kenmare has to offer.

    Set at No. 1 Cromwell Court, this privately owned townhouse sits beside the Finnihy River, right in the centre of town. Guests have the benefit of secure private parking in the gated courtyard to the rear, which is available to all residents of Cromwell Court. While there is no garden, there is an enclosed patio area to the side of the house, and the rear courtyard is safe and secure.

    Inside, the open plan kitchen and dining area is bright and inviting — perfect for a relaxed breakfast. The sitting room is warm and cosy, with a gas fire for added comfort.

    Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: two doubles (one ensuite) and one twin room, along with the main bathroom.

This was most excellent VRBO property we have stayed at. The location was outstanding, the townhouse was spotless and well provisioned upon arrival. It was so comfortable for 4 people, and finally, the communication before, during and after was flawless. Lisa provided everything we might have needed, including terrific local information. The Riverside Snug was the perfect place to stay in Kenmare! It is located just a small distance from town with many shops and pubs to enjoy. We stayed here with another couple for a quick visit to the area and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Lisa was easy and quick to communicate, brought us a baked treat to enjoy and provided great recommendations for our visit. We would 100 percent recommend and stay in again.

One of the easiest five star reviews to leave. The house was big, charming and very well equipped. The location is outstanding right on the little river. We were lucky to have good weather and were able to enjoy the courtyard as well. Lisa also gave us great local tips on how to tackle the Ring of Kerry and met us at the house to show us around. This house was perfect for our family and I would easily stay here again.

We stayed in Kenmare with three generations of our family and we had the best time! The location is perfect, with comfort and privacy while being just steps away from town. The kids loved playing along the river. We all loved walking to Maison Gourmet for breakfast and visiting all the lovely shops and pubs. The private parking was easy and convenient. Lisa was wonderful a super friendly and helpful host, sharing advice and assisting me when I needed to send a package right away. Wonderful stay! I'm hoping we'll be back someday!
